🚨BREAKING: England vs Mexico WC match will be moved back to 12pm local time due to the "risk of thunderstorms"
It's now a 7pm (Sunday) kick-off UK time
Staying up Sunday night for Mexico v England? Absolutely. But here’s the worry for England at the Azteca, and explains Mexico’s near invincibility at home.
You need a couple of weeks to acclimatise in rarefied atmospheres (Mexico City is 8,000 feet above sea level) so the air is significantly thinner, containing roughly 20% to 25% less oxygen and density compared to sea level. The England 🏴 squad have only 4 days to prepare.
To put this in context, March 2004 I was at the Aspen comedy festival in Colorado (similar altitude) and could barely breathe as I performed the night I arrived. Completely went to pieces and ended up being helped off stage. Some performers needed breathing apparatus post show to get their bearings back. And that’s just standing there talking.
Don’t be surprised if Thomas Tuchel adopts a low block and plans to just hit Mexico on the break. If DR CONGO was bad, prepare yourselves for far worse in the early hours of Monday (1am) #MEXENG
The fact this stadium is hosting a World Cup final is an absolute joke.
In the middle of fuck off nowhere, have to go through a bloody shopping centre to access it. Followed by a death march to even get to the concourse.
Dallas and LA have been robbed by those wankers at fifa
Never before have I had to go through the biggest shopping centre I have ever seen to get to a match with a theme park and ski slope in it . Mission complete finish top of the group on we go . Follow England Away GSTK 🦁🦁🦁🏴🏴🏴

Talking to England Supporters Travel Club members out here in Tampa. They reckon only 1500/1600 ESTC fans - England’s most loyal following - have come. 17,000 crowd expected in 69,000-seat Raymond James Stadium #ENG
