Exactly this. My daughter is now 17 and bedbound with severe long covid myalgic encephalomyelitis, in constant pain, with a feeding tube and countless symptoms. Hard enough on its own but worse still is the constant battle against ignorance and indifference. #pwme #LongCovid

Today is #LongCovidAwareness Day. As a mom of a 15-year-old with severe ME/CFS type Long COVID, and as both physician parents, we’ve diligently pursued every possible treatment option in this overlooked and uncharted territory, where no approved medication is available. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. She remains bedbound, in pain, with over hundreds of symptoms. It's like dying every day, seeing her like this.
