I was so impressed with the staff at @manairport this week. My Dad was wearing his hidden disabilities lanyard & dementia card for the first time & we received discreet support & consideration from everyone we came in contact with. Well done & thank you!
@KFC_UKI@KFC_UKI_help It’s about time you got your point of sale system sorted out. On 3 occasions, at 3 different restaurants in recent months I’ve ordered, paid and then been told at the counter that items on my order are not available.
@joymorrissey It is not the role of the Chief Medical Officer to be a mouthpiece for Boris or any elected individual. The elected make the decisions. Mr Whitty states his professional opinion, based on his considerable expertise. Sometimes it won’t be what you want to hear. That’s his job.
@TPEassist@TPExpressTrains I note your response, however there’s ‘catering’, and then there’s ‘refreshments’. I don’t think that it is too much to expect a bottle of water? Packet of biscuits?
On the train to Newcastle and wondering why I bothered booking first class - significant additional cost (obviously!) but zero refreshment - I’d say that is a clear case of misselling! @TPExpressTrains

@SP_EnergyPeople and @eonenergyuk our 84yr old Neighbour is distressed & confused as to who her supplier is. One of you cold called her & decided she ‘wanted’ to change supplier, the other seems disinterested that their elderly customer was moved away from them in this manner!
I'm going to spend some time this week working on my mindset to ensure that it is supporting me to achieve my goals. I regularly check that my business processes are fit for purpose so it makes sense to include my thought processes!

So glad Sam @HowlandHum had the tenacity to fight his corner on this. Sam did the right thing and self-isolated when contacted by track and trace, Leeds City Council did the wrong thing by not paying him the self-isolation money he was entitled to.
our sam was on the real newsnight on BBC2 tonight
thanks to @RachelReevesMP for helping sam get Leeds City Council to overturn their decision and give him self-isolation money
@HarvardBiz Really good article. Earlier in my career I actively decided to move companies every 2-3 years because I wanted to progress & there were so many barriers within organisations that it was easier to change company than to progress within one!
This is a really interesting read. I can think of lots of organisations that would benefit from reviewing the way they view the career progression and performance review of their employees.
@TalentedLadies I’ve been a contractor/consultant for a number of years & I can’t over stress the importance of being conversant with IR35, not least of all because many clients aren’t! Also, as the article states, your working practices are just as important as your contractual wording.
Oh I can definitely relate to this - many years ago I made a huge email related faux pas by not double checking an email that I was responding to and forwarding on behalf of my then boss - once done, never forgotten! 😳
Continuing the more positive 'things to look forward to', rather than 'things I am missing' theme... solo cinema trips have always been one of my treats to myself and I'm really looking forward to the next film that I go to see. 🤩
