Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is still getting missed when it matters most.

A recent report in @gastroendonews on data presented
at ACG 2025 found:

🔹 Only 19% of patients with food impaction had biopsies
🔹 Nearly HALF of those biopsied had EoE
🔹 41% of patients without follow-up were lost entirely

That’s not just a gap—it’s a missed diagnosis window.
