The parents are finally fully informed, so I wanted to share it here as well...

My girlfriend, Kara, and I are officially engaged as of last night ♥️

I told Kara's parents as well as my own during the Xmas break that I planned to propose to her, but I wanted to wait for what felt like the right moment. I always knew it was going to be a spur-of-the-moment decision, so there was intentionally no planning involved. I just felt like I would know when the moment arrived.

My love for her is always the strongest when, during just a regular boring day, we are still having an amazing time just being with each other. This weekend was VERY casual, but we had a blast just being with each other. We were doing chores last night and while we were taking out the trash, both of us were laughing and joking about anything and everything and I knew that when we got to the apartment, I would say the words.

We get back to the apartment, and she just gives me a huge hug saying how much she loves me, and I knew it was the moment. So she says that, and I say, "on that note... Would you like to marry me?" She said yes immediately and then we just continued to laugh, love, and joke about how my proposal came after a trash run 😂, but WHEN YOU KNOW, YOU JUST KNOW ♥️
