Ms. Tshego Walker, PYEI Director in the Presidency, discussed the role of the National Youth Service (NYS) within the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention (PYEI). Launched in 2020 by President Ramaphosa, the PYEI is dedicated to tackling the youth unemployment crisis by helping young people transition from learning to earning opportunities. The initiative continues to pave the way for youth empowerment and sustainable employment solutions.
