Severe and destructive tornado damage is being reported on the south side of Streator, Illinois, where multiple homes have been heavily damaged — with some reportedly wiped down to almost nothing. Cars were tossed, injuries have been reported, gas leaks are a concern, and search & rescue operations are ongoing.

This is a very serious and heartbreaking situation. Please avoid the damaged areas so emergency crews can work safely. 🙏🌪️
