@stillman_steve I just have a distaste for Eminence in general. Combine that with a hyper aggressive build that often backdoors into infinite combo... just a fairly polarized deck.
@golgariguy This is primarily a mono-Red combination at low P/T.
For 2 color pairs, it should be Red-White. However, there's more Red-Black then any other combination. Weird.
@ghirapurigears Or,
Etb, search for a card named Sol Ring.
Or,
If you have exactly 2 untapped lands, search for a card named Counterspell.
Or,
If there are more then 10 creatures on the battlefield, search for a card named Wrath of God and put it in your hand.
Where does it stop?
@ghirapurigears The part I hate is the calling out a specific card by name. It feels like an Alchemy effect.
Can you imagine a creature like this?
if cards named Kodama's Reach, Three Visits, Nature's Lore, or Cultivate are in your graveyard then this creature enters with 2 +1/+1 counters.

@ghirapurigears At least it's "Phelddagrif"; it's own thing, and not "Phelddagrif, the Hungry Hungry Hippo", a Hasbro IP product advertisement, sold for $100, and targeted to sell more board games.
@dennismacelroy@historyinmemes 12 inches of solid concrete with no reinforcement...
And a refrigerator apparently bolted to the opposing wall? Can he not just keep digging around the fridge?
@ghirapurigears I used to run this in my Oops all Creatures edh deck, but it got cut just for being so mana intense.
Instead, targeted removal + conditional wipes (like Massacre Wurm, Archfiend of Depravity, Magus of the Disk, or Cataclysmic Gearhulk) just end up working better
