@dbacksprospectz@dannybarrand_ And the track record of big bat 1Bs (that's my guess) in the draft is brutal. We saw it with Melendez. Golden Spikes winner, no doubt masher. DFAd before he made the bigs and no one picked him up.
@GoldyHappens last night:
"I hate this team"
"This is hands down my least favorite Dbacks team ever"
And criticized Bert and Collmenter for being too positive (false, and bizarre)
He's not a fan. Like, for real. He's actively saying that. Can y'all please unfollow him?
Pitching is a system weakness for our MiLB? C'mon man. Amarillo has literally the worst park factor (i.e. worst place for pitchers) in the minor leagues. Reno is the 3rd worst in the PCL. (https://t.co/uGnrJveE0X)
@ajburk2000 You think he was biased towards the DBacks? Didn’t you learn about Corbin chasing high pitches, having a .204 BA since some days, Kepler being 2-16, and several other similar things?
It's amazing to hear an announcer (Brewers guy Tim Dillard) talk so optimistically about the D'Backs.
You live in our online world and even our home town announcers and you come away thinking we're on the verge of relegation. Anyone outside the bubble realizes we're pretty good
The Brewers are great, yes. But last night, in an 11-inning game that was 50-50%, if we had any of these guys, we win: Burnes, JMart, Puk, Soroka, Nelly, Lawlar.
But hey, everyone has injuries. The Brewers are down Logan Henderson and Quinn Priester. (Not the same)
@ClydeTheGlide28 How about GoldyHappened complaining about Cantera and Bratt’s delivery even though they’re good. It’s like the complaints that we had that long winning streak but only because the opponents sucked.
Can all the negative weirdos on here just chill? We're 3 games out (84-78 won us the pennant 3 years ago) and we're playing without (and getting back) our $35 mill ace, 2 elite closers, Lawlar, Soroka and Nelly.
Let's see if this works out before jumping off a bridge.
This system is what the players and owners should agree to. A fixed percentage of revenue goes to the players.
Then a salary cap wouldn’t depressed wages. And there would be every incentive to maximize total revenues, i.e., not have a lockout.
While I understand that Pavin Smith and Ildemaro Vargas look terrible right now...
Jose Fernandez is not the answer for the #Dbacks currently. He has a .674 OPS, .276 xwOBA, and a 56 wRC+
Now, if you want to talk about Tyler Locklear...
Can we stop paying attention to this guy?
Fernandez has a .670 OPS - in Reno (!). He needs time in AAA.
He complained that Bert, a team employee, isn’t negative enough.
And even stuff he’s maybe not way off about is obnoxious - he tweets 30x a day about Pavin.
