Florida Learjet 60 Crash: What Caused the Jet to Fall From the Sky? ✈️

On November 1, 2026, a Learjet 60 crashed in Palm Beach County, Florida, killing all nine people on board.

The private jet was flying from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas when something went terribly wrong.

Before the crash, the pilots reported icing conditions, moderate turbulence, and precipitation. They requested a higher altitude, hoping to find smoother air.

Moments later, the aircraft entered a rapid descent.

Flight-tracking data showed a descent rate briefly exceeding 32,000 feet per minute.

But what actually caused the aircraft to lose control?

That remains unknown.

Now, investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board are working to reconstruct the flight, examining wreckage, air traffic control communications, weather conditions, aircraft systems, and available flight data.

Every piece of evidence could help explain what happened.

The investigation isn't just about understanding one tragedy. It's about finding answers that could help prevent another.

Our thoughts are with the nine people who lost their lives and their families.
