🚨 Welcome to Lahn HQ.
This is the official rapid response account of Zach Lahn for Governor.
Lets elect a conservative outsider, MAHA-endorsed, Iowa First Governor who will defend Iowa's culture, health, and heritage.

This is a complete lie.
I'm a 6th generation Iowan living on the same farm that's been in our family for 125 years.
I never said anything like this. Notice there's no quote? It's because they don't have one. I didn't say it.
The paper's already made two corrections to this garbage story.
By the time our lawyers get finished, we expect a third.
Here's the thing:
Rob Sand claims to be a different kind of politician, but he started this campaign by lying about me and my children in a deeply personal way.
Meanwhile, Rob thinks every illegal deserves a place in Iowa. But our family isn't Iowa enough for him?
Now you know everything there is to know about who we're really up against in this campaign.
Buckle up.

We cannot let this man win the Governor’s seat - Imagine a world during Covid with the likes of him in charge! Find a Republican Candidate in the primary and Vote RED!!!
📌During COVID, Democrat Rob Sand wanted access to Iowans' personal health records—including SSNs, names, and addresses. When asked why by Simon Conway, he admitted he didn't "need it," but that "legally speaking," he is entitled to it.
If that's his attitude toward Iowans' sensitive data as State Auditor, can you imagine what he would do as governor? #IAGov @IAFieldReport https://t.co/zgjqdq04kH
This is a crucial piece of legislation for Iowa. It strikes a smart balance by preserving meaningful local autonomy for cities and counties, safeguarding the rights of all landowners—those eager to host renewable energy projects as well as those who prefer to opt out—and establishing clear, reasonable guidelines that keep our state economically competitive and open for business in the growing energy sector.
As I work on providing Iowans with options to reduce their energy costs through HSB 629, the Local Generation Act, it's crucial to involve stakeholders in the discussion. Yesterday, we convened with solar developers, energy experts, investor-owned utilities, and our rural electric cooperatives to analyze the bill and address various concerns.
Iowa Caucus night = civic duty 🇺🇸
Offered to serve as an Alternate on the Dubuque County 🐘 Central Committee and as a Delegate to the County Convention.
Best part? Taking my youngest daughter Sydney to dinner and sharing the experience with her! 👩🏼❤️👧🏻
Democrat Rob Sand cashed a $50,000 check from Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, a billionaire Hyatt heir and one of the most liberal governors in the country. For Iowans wondering whose priorities Sand is aligned with, the answer is written right on the check.

Earlier this winter, I met with Dubuque Community Schools Superintendent Amy Hawkins. This morning, I sat down with Western Dubuque Superintendent Dan Butler and Finance Director Mark Fraser.
Both conversations were productive and positive—I truly appreciate hearing their perspectives on the ground.
We talked funding, of course, but the real focus was on practical ways to support our students and teachers better. Grateful for these open discussions as we work toward stronger schools for our kids.
What a blessing and true pleasure it is to welcome Archbishop Thomas Zinkula, Bishop John E. Keehner of Sioux City, Bishop Dennis G. Walsh of Davenport, and Bishop William M. Joensen of Des Moines to the Iowa Capitol. Grateful for their presence and leadership!
After a lot of reflection with my family, I am suspending my campaign for Iowa’s 2nd Congressional District. We are so grateful to our supporters, volunteers, and every Iowan who joined this journey.
My full statement is below. I remain dedicated to serving HD65 and fighting for our values. Thank you, Iowa. 🇺🇸

I would hate to think what trouble our Country would be in, if President Trump hadn't been sworn in as our 47th President one year ago today.
Thank you @POTUS for your Make America First agenda! Prices coming down, peace through strength, energy dominance, lower taxes.... the list goes on. 💪🏻🇺🇸
As we reflect on the life of Martin Luther King Jr., It is a good time to consider that we can have differences of opinions and still be respectful of each other's thoughts. All too often, I see social media comments that are disrespectful, snarky and rude. Ask yourself, do I feel better having left that comment? Does it change anything? Will the person you directed your comments to, change their mind because of it? The answer is most likely, no. So how do we change the trajectory of civility in our country?
Change how you react to disagreements. You and you alone are responsible for your behavior and how you react to the behavior of others.
"We must learn to live together as brothers, or we will perish together as fools" Martin Luther King, Jr.
It was a pleasure joining the Buchanan County Republicans on a snowy Saturday, for their fundraiser in Independence yesterday. Governor, Senate, Congressional and Auditor candidates in attendance. A lot of questions, and great sidebar conversations about where candidates stand. I really enjoyed the event.
On my way back from serving in Des Moines on Thursday, I attended the Blackhawk Co. GOP meeting. I appreciated the warm welcome and the opportunity to share my life story and the journey from a small business owner, to State Rep. and now a Congressional Candidate in the 2nd District. They had great attendance, bold questions and even better conversation after the event.
Thank you Rep. Henderson.
"I am proud to endorse Shannon Lundgren for Congress in the Second Congressional District. As a State Representative, Shannon has served as an effective committee chair for many years, demonstrating exemplary leadership. She consistently listens to the voices of her constituents and ensures their voices are heard.
I have no doubt she will be a strong influence in Congress, guiding our state toward economic growth and effective solutions. Her ability to foster collaboration and make impactful decisions will be invaluable as she represents the interests of Iowans at the national level."
