We just wanted to provide a quick update on USN v1 in response to certain articles published today in light of the USN wind down.

1. USN v1 did not have any burn/mint relationship to $NEAR

2. Reserves were never held solely in volatile assets.

3. USN evolved and adapted quickly - v.2 was launched in June 2022 - putting our users and ecosystem first.

While our journey is coming to an end, we believe this is just the beginning for decentralized stablecoins on #NEAR and in the broader crypto industry.

All of DCB's code and contributions are open source and remain so indefinitely.
