it’s funny that ppl calculate sending their kids to school for x years at $50k per year or whatever when the entire education system is likely going to change drastically in the next few years.
i suspect the cost of education will likely go down significantly too & it’s likely unclear whether or not to even send your kids to a school.
what even is education now is prolly a good question to start with.
@pipelineclub100 Genuine is the key word here. So many reps ask basic qualifying questions, but miss great questions that uncover the key things because they aren’t genuinely trying to solve their potential customers problems.
This chart literally shows that capitalism is working like it should and is helping more people move up the wealth ladder. It is never perfect, but it is much better than any other system in the world as of right now.
The middle class in America is shrinking
But it's happening b/c more ppl are moving into the upper middle class
American households are getting richer but the rich are getting richer at a faster pace
Wealth inequality is complicated

You have to out-earn what you see around you.
Rent/housing, groceries, healthcare, etc.
If you're just getting started...stop complaining that things are hard, and start finding paths forward.
Yes they are hard, and they will always be hard.
What are you going to do...give up?
You do not yet know, how hard poverty will be...and that it will touch everything in your life & your family's life.
Be bitter if you want, that's fine. Carry anger and direct that energy to finding a way forward and being resolute about it.
Never give up. Keep pushing.
Life is not easy for many people, and coming from 0 is hard stuff. But if you need a wake up call, let this be yours...
Start today, and do *something*
Do not give in, and do not give up.
Not everyone needs a Ferrari, but you should have security and no one will give that to you, but you.
You may have health issues, a terrible job, barely making ends meet, or waiting for luck...but there is rarely luck you do not create.
You are on your own.
Time to make a strategy, and act now.
DataTrek's Nick Colas/Jessica Rabe joined @Downtown on @TheCompoundNews to discuss the most extreme stretch of Tech outperformance in recent market history, the highly anticipated SpaceX IPO, and how to spot when Tech has run too far like in 1999/2000.

I know both fanbases will complain about the refs, because that’s what you have to do if your team is in a high stakes game.
But the physicality in this game has been awesome
@pipelineclub100 It’s amazing when you figure out the right way to be curios in sales and stop worrying about yourself and your quota. I remember when it clicked for me and it has made me very good at what I do now haha Great tweet!
@rohindhar Honestly shocked no one has said Maytag. We have had ours 6 years and it has been great. Great value. Not as nice as Bosch but gets the job done without the premium cost.
@BobEUnlimited@ericwallerstein I work in the light industrial staffing space and I can tell you the last 3 years were recessionary. This is the first year in a few where business is growing in most places. Our business grows when industrial companies business are starting to grow. You are on the wrong side.
Don’t be afraid to be seen trying
Looking inexperienced, uncool, overly eager, needy, making mistakes, feeling embarrassed, not being immediately good at something…are all infinitely better than inaction
