@ElitePurduePete Not bowing down is fine and I would tip my cap to that but this was not that. This was complete dumbassery and is likely only going to result in a bloodbath of historical proportions when IU and Purdue meet up this season
@CFB_Pat 1. Cheat??
2. How did IU’s roster compare cost wise last season to other top teams?
3. Completely irrelevant if you dominate your playoff opponents to prove you weren’t just a product of an easy schedule.
@RMGBuckeye4Life You’re missing one really important caveat here. These “9th graders” in your analogy are mostly all 4 & 5⭐️+ players. There is not that big of a gap between a highly rated freshman and a 0-2 ⭐️ senior
@stevesclub4@ANosofsky Again I’m not a legal expert so I could be wrong on this but I believe the Colorado ruling explicitly clarified that signing a professional sports contract voided any potential remaining eligibility even if the player was subsequently cut from the professional team.
@ANosofsky@stevesclub4 I’m going to venture out on a limb and say anyone good enough to get drafted in the 2nd round isn’t coming back to college. I’ll go even further by saying chances are 3rd-5th rounders aren’t coming back either except for very specific and rare cases maybe
@stevesclub4 I have no comment on the court order. I’m not a legal expert. Just seems to me like everyone got their panties in a wad over IU football and most of it is centered around players that uppity schools like Alabama would turn their nose up at anyway
@BobbyWilson1004@CFBPlayoff Am I the only that thinks the regular season schedule is sort of irrelevant if you prove it in the playoffs by steam rolling basically everybody?? I mean I’d understand it if you made the playoffs and got completely and thoroughly exposed but that didn’t happen
@BoersBurner@RedRaiderDoug If you had even the slightest of clues how stupid this argument makes you sound, you would delete every tweet mentioning it and then delete your account all together
@HamDawg115 Daly was having a great season that was cut short by a freak injury. If you can’t be happy that a young man is getting another shot to improve some more and make it to the next level then you’re just a sad miserable person
@SabanFieldHQ Actually that’s what we call the game we played down in Miami against Miami. Had Bama not gotten their buttholes spit in by IU, maybe they could’ve made it there
@dawgsfan2@ATX2OKC@PardonMyTake Sure, if you don’t count Cignetti. No other coach in CFB could do at Indiana what Cig has done. If Cig and Kirby trade jobs right now, IU would suck again and Georgia would finally win another championship
@ATX2OKC@PardonMyTake Last I heard they don’t give the championship to the best recruiting class but okay. Cig is starting to gain some traction with those highly rated high school prospects so those schools may be up shits creek all together here soon
