For t’many not t’few. If God had intended social democrats to lead t’Labour Party he’d have been a Blairite traitor. Floreat Etona. Parody, comments not serious
As I previously announced, today I step down as Shadow Home Secretary. I want to thank all those members and affiliates, all the NGOs and stakeholders, and my loyal staff for all their wonderful support - and to pay a special tribute to @BellRibeiroAddy. The struggle continues
Only an hour until we know the lies from the fascist media like the Guardian were seen through, and the proletariat, BMW driving, public school attending, oppressed membership have voted for Becky to ensure the glowing future put in place by Jeremy is guaranteed.
Trump refused to take the threat of the coronavirus seriously, now he won’t take responsibility as his administration has been totally unprepared for this crisis.
You have to hope his career is not over. I see a new role for him as a catalyst on the back benches. He may seem like an establishment Labour politician but I can see him having potential to be a thorn in the side of the red Tories.

No lucrative speaking gigs await - just more tireless activism to improve the lot of working class people across the globe. A titan.
As a lifelong socialist in my 80’s, like Jeremy I voted Leave to counter the foolish love of the capitalist cartel that is the EU amongst the young. So it is an outrage they now put ME at risk by cavorting in public, just because the virus is unlikely to hurt them. So unfair.
As the horror that is a Tory majority government unfolds, I hope voters now realise the huge mistake they made not electing Jeremy. Sadly, Keir Starmer won’t be the opposition leader that Jeremy was.
In case anyone does want to read why the Government had got it wrong and have changed tack, this is the Imperial College paper. Its 20 pages long and goes on a bit, but basically says we were heading for 250k deaths as we'd have too many people needing ICU beds. (1)
@BethRigby@Peston@bbclaurak will you be asking at what level the government will trigger Social distancing and school/university closure - 60 ICU cases a week? 400? What is the number currently? Page 13 of the Imperial College paper says this is a key factor for total deaths.
