What would convince me is seeing people actually use the infrastructure because they need the service, not just because they want the token.

For me, real-world utility is simple. If a DePIN project says it provides internet, computing power, storage, mapping, energy, or any other physical service, I want to see that service being used in the real world.

I’d look at things like real users, consistent network activity, deployed hardware, paying customers, and transparent on-chain data that can verify the claims.

The biggest test for me would be this:

If you remove the token rewards and the hype, would people still use the product?

If the answer is yes, and there’s clear evidence to support it, then I’d consider that genuine real-world utility. That’s much more convincing to me than big numbers, partnerships, or promises.
