@lovewins11011 If the situation feels unsafe enough that low contact is still affecting you, do it. But do it quietly and slowly to avoid too much backlash, and brace yourself for the tantrums and smear campaign. Don't fall for the hoovering to get you to come back.
@B00mB00m178@lovewins11011 This is honestly why you never call a narcissist a narcissist directly. They'll just blow up on you. Same for no contact. Just do it privately for your own safety and manage it from there. You don't owe them an explanation, despite the years of trauma bonding telling you so.
If you want to maintain healthy relationships in your life you have to learn how to reconcile the right way. When you mistreat or mishandle someone that you love and care about, apologize to them AND address the issue. Waiting for time to pass hoping it will get better (1/3)
Ben Shapiro is trying so hard to become my new nemesis. Like, sweetheart, I know you want me, okay? I know you're pissing me off because to your demented consciousness that seems like flirting.
But Ben: It's not gonna happen. I'm just not into small-time nemeses. I've got TB now.
The silent treatment is a form of emotional abuse.
Intentionally punishing someone with removal of love is a coping mechanism of emotionally immature people.
It says: when you do something I don't like, I deny your very existence.
You don't owe anyone an apology for having feelings.
Even feelings they disapprove of.
Even feelings YOU disapprove of.
Having feelings is maybe the most human of human experiences. You don't have to repent or atone for being human.
(Nope. You're not the exception.)
