@KillmerCj 6-7 years ago the smaller one decided to open a new surgery center and the larger one tried to legally block it, citing a lack of need. They failed and it did open. A few years later the larger provider opened their own new surgery center. Crazy.
@KillmerCj I was listening to this today and the hospital example really struck me. I live in a rural area and the closest decent sized town has two big medical providers. Both have multiple locations there and in the surrounding small communities. The larger one has a hospital.
@DrHoodieMaddog Yesterday sucked, but this is an incredibly dumb statement. Bielema has brought us the best Illini football program of my lifetime. The defense looks like it might be a complete disaster this season, but BB deserves a mulligan.
1. There are about 269.7 million adults in the US. If you think all of them are going to get a $5000 “dividend”, you are incredibly gullible.
2. If you actually think pumping a $1.35 trillion “dividend” into the economy is a good idea, you are economically illiterate.
For some people, $5,000 isn’t a lot of money. For others, it’s a car repair that keeps them working, a past-due bill finally paid, groceries without checking the bank account first, or a little breathing room they haven’t had in years.
For a lot of American families, $5,000 could genuinely be life-changing!
