@botzarelli @CarlChambe84398 Another single point of data: I bought my house in 1997. Similar houses in my street are currently on sale for more than six times what I paid for it. IT bods in their late 20s are (at the top end) earning maybe 2 1/2 times what I was back then.

@botzarelli @AceVondelle I went in in 1986 for my A level results. I needed BBC and got ABE, so the principal phoned the university to check if that was OK.
Somehow I'm still in Reading forty years later.

@botzarelli @BradfemlyWalsh It had to be extracted and a year or so later I was advised to have the one in the upper jaw removed as well as it now had nothing to bite against (I don't remember why having an implant wasn't an option)

@botzarelli @BradfemlyWalsh I had four of my pre-molars out as a young teenager to ensure there would be enough room when my wisdom teeth came through. It worked, and I and my 28 well-spaced teeth lived happily until one of my wisdom teeth cracked in half on a pork pie with some bone in it.

Update: they have now added the six lines to the overhead screens! They do indeed now take up three pages. Only took them nine months...

On Elizabeth Line trains there are overhead information screens cycling through lots of pages. On trains heading to London two of these are status pages for tube lines, plus trams, the Lizzie itself, and the Overground. 1/3

Adding five extra lines on the overheads on Lizzie trains would mean using three pages instead of two. So they removed the Overground report, and didn't add the new lines.
I find this ironic. 3/3
