@JamesX_Li@cityoftoronto I'm in MTL and there are so many cyclists that don't follow the code of the road. It's really disheartening because those rules are there for safety. Drivers should pay attention since they move 1500kg around but all road users have a responsibility IMO.
@ThatMetalNessie@Mick_Gordon I tried it on Game pass and your intuition is correct. It doesn't hit as hard as it used to. It feels generic now. Gameplay is fine but I wish the music hit as hard as it used to. Eternal was prime.
@Mick_Gordon I tried the new Doom and it honestly doesn't hit as hard anymore. In another universe you made it better and I just wanted to say that I miss your contribution to the game. Thank you for the amazing experience you gave me in Doom and Eternal. Good luck on future.
@therealzomb I read your article about WinDirStat on Windows Central and just wanted to share the tool WizTree.
It does the same thing but it reads the MFT instead of scanning the drive. It gives the same information but in 2 seconds instead of minutes.
@FoodProfessor@wwoodcox If only MPs had this integrity. I'm losing more and more faith in the capabilities of our gov to govern for the people instead of for themselves. Wish you luck. I appreciate your tweets. Even if some are infuriating, it's important to know.
@RaphLife@kiltmonkey I was let go from a company that closed our game studio in favor of NFT RnD. Making our game also was all about numbers, FTD, Retention, etc... Design was cookie cutter stuff and they didn't listen to our feedback.
Was a bit depressing the last half year there to be honest.
@RaphLife I believe it is due to the fact that big companies chase profits rather than good game experiences. I hope you're wrong too. It's the general problem with art when you make it about the bottom line. We'll see what happens I guess. Best of luck!
@nestof5@TheMarcitect Yeah because in a world with so many people there's never going to be a chance that unrelated people look similar. Doppelganger isn't a real thing then, right?!
@butzrecords03 @Sole_tree @historyinmemes This visual phenomenon does not require oil. It requires a nanometer thin sheet of substance that sits on top of the water (cannot mix)? The substance also needs to have a different refractive index than the water. It's called thin film interference l. Soap bubbles!
@juycer@Videotron Yeah totally understandable. I would say monitor it and if it's constantly not up to speed just get the lesser tier and pay less. Although I think the lower tiers don have as much upload so yeah.. not awesome. Good luck.
@juycer@Videotron This happened to me when I was living in a place where all the places were piped through a single fiber and you could experience slowdowns at peak usage times. It really sucked tbh because nothing can be done and it's hard to blame them as you don't have proof. Network topology!
@juycer@Videotron Since this is fiber to the neighborhood. It's possible that there is too much traffic being routed through the same junction when the connection from the fiber is distributed to homes. E.g if the fiber is split to 20 homes vs 100 homes it can affect your speed if many are active
