@MrsBBell Yes, the only path to Emergency QB is through waivers. The New Orleans game exposed his inability to move on to the next level of processing the game like a starter. His mechanics reverted under pressure making him inaccurate. Note that no QB challenged teams signed him.
@judah47 Ready to hook up the classic electrodes then pull the switch on the Franken-PV. We in NC need a real break from Summer. It has been relentless. Ready for your annual Red vs Blue team Winter Games to get underway.
@BigJoeBastardi We Winter enthusiasts would all love to see that. Unless we get a Siberian Snow and Sea Ice override, the +IOD and -PDO beg to differ with the CFS
@judah47@CIairv0yant_Mik It is interesting to see a dual -PDO and possible -AMO (maybe flip is finally happening?) . The Southern Hem Oceans and Indian Ocean running warmer. The armchair QB Analyst speculates whether this Megatron ๐ El Nino has a different character than post 1980 events.
@judah47 It is interesting seeing the 100mb and 70mb run a bit warm this summer. So... the sPV never really dies it is a "Princess Bride" style "mostly dead".... Had to share the humor seen through weather.
@judah47 Since you mentioned the 100mb relationship to the February extreme cold and snow time period in a previous blog, it has been interesting watching the different layers and passage of activity (or no passage) thru 100mb.
@judah47 We seem to not be following Spring 2025's playbook (dripping paint). Noticed a narrow but "great wall" ridge separating mid-latitudes from the Tropics in West Pacific. That feature correlates well with US overperformance of warmth, particularly here in the SE US
@judah47@HamoudaMosti If Spring and Early Summer 2025 was an indication. We can expect "drips" to send repetitive cold fronts and potentially prolong severe storm season in the East. All that being written, a boatload of cold air is modelled to be pooled over Canada.
@judah47 If it does deliver, Miami might not be far enough south to escape the express, LOL...
Now... if we could get the stalled wave over the Indian Ocean to finally move to the West Pacific, that would be outstanding.
