@Tectone 34 year old rapist posting memes about gender bent fictional character pretending it would agree with your political beliefs. You are a waste of oxygen
Bro really just is the iDubbbz of Vtubing at this point but if Ian was a conservative Christian larper.
Also mind you that this clown was once upon a time bisexual. lol
@ancient_jawbone@XENONS_CORPSE@friedPeeP@eternosansgara If someone knowingly misleads/lies about their age and then tries to FRAME said person for sexting a minor then it actually does absolve them of responsibility you dingbat
@XStonedLuffyX@Hsuzumiya6@BowlToMe@Tectone Buddy you’re the one throwing a hissy fit about nobody holding your hand and comforting you for saying you should delete yourself. If you can’t take it then don’t dish it out, that simple. You’ve already showed to others what a fucking joke you are.
@XStonedLuffyX@Hsuzumiya6@BowlToMe@Tectone Again, I’m not here pretending to be a Christian. Your beliefs contradict themselves, and body really cares about your views or your retarded opinions. We just like laughing at you, and your life has the same value to me as a gnat
As promised I watched one of @TemplarsVoice videos that was recommended to me and here are my thoughts.
Templar did the one thing Powdur would not do. He judged the claim by Christ, not by the costume.
Powdur’s video is titled like a confession. It plays like a consumer review. Christianity “could be so cool,” she says, then immediately withdraws the compliment because the brand is fractured, the churches have “adopted the status quo,” and she does not “really have a reason to be Christian.” That is the whole argument. Cool cathedral. Bad customer service.
Templar heard that and refused to play along. From the open he plants the stake where it belongs: you should be
“unapologetic and unashamed and unyielding”
in support of Jesus Christ,
“the sovereign of the universe and the one that died for our sins to give us new life.”
Not the aesthetic. Not the faction. Not the political machine she keeps waiting to see form. Christ. That is the correct order, and almost nobody in this lane keeps it.
Her first move is the fake-Christian trap. She likes the faith when you “stop listening to the fake ones,” then admits she has no clean test for the fake ones, then uses the fracture itself as the reason not to enter.
Templar’s answer is the only adult one on the tape.
“Christianity is the way, the truth, and the light. You have not but to look at the Bible and read the teachings of Jesus Christ.”
Then the line that should have ended the clip:
“I don’t care if somebody calls me a fake Christian… my relationship with Christ is non-negotiable. It’s not based on their perception.”
An atheist does not get to grade the Bride and then cite the grade as why she will not meet the Bridegroom.
He says it plain. “You’re an atheist. Why would I take my advice as a Christian from you?”
I agree with Templar.
She is defining Christian ethics from outside the faith and then scolding the faithful for failing her definition.
“Christians will call people their enemies that wouldn’t be their enemies.”
“A lot of churches have definitely just adopted the status quo. And I can’t support that.”
"Christianity meant a lot more a long time ago. People fought and died for it and now they don’t.”
“I want the Christians to attempt to gain some political power and then we’ll see where it goes.”
Every one of those is a spectator note. None of them is a reason. A reason would survive contact with a Bible.
The money changer point is the best thing in the reaction, and it exposes her completely. Her posture, as he frames it, is: the money changers are in the temple, so I will not go to the temple.
Christ’s posture was a whip of cords and tables on the floor.
“Join and do something about it instead of bitching.”
“If you see the money changers, Powder’s mentality is, well, I guess I’m not going to go to temple. Jesus’s mentality was, I’m fashioning a whip.”
That is the whole divide. She wants a clean institution before she will darken the door. He wants a Lord worth flipping tables for. One of those is discipleship.
She even hands him the example. A Methodist church near her university does gay weddings, and she finds it “very odd.”
He does not flinch and he does not throw the faith out with the parish. Fracture is not a bug she discovered. It is what happens when some Christians say a thing is sin and other Christians rent the sanctuary out for it.
“It doesn’t mean that you throw out the whole thing and just become an atheist and doom your immortal soul.”
That sentence is doing moral work her whole video refuses to do. Schism is not an alibi. Hell does not offer a group rate because a campus church lost the plot.
Then she says nobody dies for it anymore. He does not let the myth stand. Nigerians and others across Africa are being told to renounce Jesus and accept Islam, and some of them are dying with the name still in their mouth.
She built a eulogy for a faith that is still bleeding in the present tense, because her sample is Western stream chat and a Methodist parish, not the church under the knife.
“What are you doing? Nothing.”
Harsh. Also accurate. Lecturing martyrs from an atheist chair is not nuance. It is the “rare nuance” she claims to want, spent entirely on splitting the difference between “woke” and “severe” while never opening the Book he told her to read cover to cover, Genesis to Revelation.
The political power beat is where her Christianity finally shows its teeth, and they are not Christ’s. She wants believers to grab power
“and then we’ll see.”
Templar calls that “about the worst thing I can imagine,” and he is right for a reason older than either of their channels.
Satan already ran this offer. The kingdoms of the world, if you bend the knee. Jesus said no. A faith you join to see what it can win in the legislature is the same faith Satan pitched on the mountain.
“This is not our world… our true kingdom is the kingdom of heaven.”
“Christianity should be about your relationship with Christ.”
He is not telling her to be quiet in public. He is telling her the public fight is downstream of the Lord, not a tryout for Him. Andrew Wilson, Jay Dyer, the people actually arguing Christian ethics in public, exist. She does not watch them, so she reports that the defense is empty.
He is also right to cut Mormonism out of the Christian column before she wanders the video into Joseph Smith. That is not sectarian pedantry. If the faith can be anything a sincere person brands it, then her “no reason to be Christian” was never about Christ. It was about a menu.
Here is where I plant my own flag, because the same rot she is sniffing at is the rot that made half these churches pro-choice in practice while still printing “Christian” on the sign.
A parish that will solemnize what Scripture calls sin, and a parish that will not name the child in the womb as a neighbor, are running the same program: status quo over the text.
Templar’s standard in this reaction is the pro-life standard whether he stops to say the word or not. The unborn is not an aesthetic. The unborn is not a political prop you pick up once your side has “gained some power.”
The unborn is the image of God, smaller than the argument and older than the denomination fight. If your reason for staying out is that the churches are compromised, the Table-flipping answer is the same one he gave her.
Join the ones that have not sold the sanctuary. Be the change. Do not stand in the court and announce you have no reason to follow the Lord because other people used His name badly.
Pro-life is not an add-on to this. It is the test of whether “new life in Jesus Christ” means anything in the body. A Christianity that can watch a child be taken apart and call it healthcare has already accepted the premise Powdur is circling: the faith is whatever the present consensus can stomach.
Templar will not stomach it. That is why the reaction holds. He is concrete where she is atmospheric. He is resolute where she is browsing. He would rather be called fake by “degenerate parasocial losers” than trade the cross for a cleaner brand. I will take that man over the review every time.
Powdur is not a theologian having a hard time with the creeds. She is a popular streamer doing a stream-of-consciousness pass on a religion she will not read, will not join, and will not stop grading. Templar says it ugly near the end, and the ugliness is earned: an immature, juvenile perspective, confidence born of nothing, optics mistaken for the faith.
I would have said it cleaner. I would not have said it softer. Women are not the authors of the Fall in the way his aside plays it, and that line is the one false step in an otherwise straight sermon. Adam was in the garden. The serpent was in the garden. Blame does not get laundered onto one sex so the reaction can wink. Cut that and the rest of the video is the right medicine.
Read the Word. Find a church that still knows what a wedding is and what a child is. Stop waiting for Christians to become impressive enough to deserve you.
Christ already died for people who were not impressive. Templar remembered that. Powdur reviewed the building and left before the service.
Christ is King. God bless.
@XStonedLuffyX@Hsuzumiya6@BowlToMe@Tectone I mean, you’re someone out here defending a rapist and making light of a child’s death. Not like I have any sympathy for you so yeah???
