I'm honoured to have my journey as an entrepreneur shared as part of the @Quicktake series, and to have shared the journey with many inspiring business women along the way!

"I started off in the shed in my backyard with a hacksaw and a drill to make my first antennas."
Meet the woman behind @WildlifeDrones1, the award-winning startup that helps track endangered animals and control invasive species
Platypus captured by one of our team while hunting for feral cats at a waterhole at 11pm the other night! Is anyone using thermal equipment to survey for the platypus? Could be a very useful survey method for this cryptic species?!

Snake catchers regularly advise on the need to keep yards neat and tidy. Here’s an example why this is sage advice. A pile of tyres just off the front porch offered temporary cover for this 93cm Eastern brown snake while it digested a meal. #Canberra#WildOz

I can't believe it!! My camera trap caught the exact moment a baby curlew started to hatch!! AND her first wobbly steps. My heart is so full! Welcome to the world little one, in your safe haven home at @MulligansFlat@MFGO_Exp [cultural warning: curlew footage]
My entry into the Threatened Species Bake Off is the Antbed Parrot Moth Trisyntopa scatophaga, listed as Endangered. It lives exclusively in the nest of the Golden-shouldered Parrot (which is excavated from a termite mound) and eats the poop of the nesting parrots.
This is the view from my accommodation on Lord Howe Island. The first bird calls are of the LHI Woodhen followed by the LHI Currawong. In the background you may hear the calls of thousands of Providence Petrels returning to their burrows on Mt Lidgbird and the distant Mt Gower.

This was one of the most exciting moments in my career to date, and I wasn't even the one who checked this particular trap! Hoping this gorgeous girl is just the first of many on #dirkhartogisland#wirruwana.
A big congratulations to our partner, Thai Van Nguyen from Save Vietnam's Wildlife for being awarded the prestigious Goldman Environmental Prize 👏

@EuanRitchie1@BetootaAdvocate What a typical WA photo - bloke in suit who claims a win when he has lost, emus who were here first and been dispossessed still dispossessed. That's the before shot - here's the aftershot, demonstrating that if you let blokes get away with it they get away with it.
