Ain’t that America?
Tell me it’s not.
.@PressSec: The fact that Fox News – and not the Department of Homeland Security, the city, or local NGOs – were alerted about a plan to leave migrants, including children, on the side of busy DC street makes clear this is just a cruel and premeditated political stunt.
Ron DeSantis literally used Florida taxpayer money to pay for a scheme to pick up migrants who were in Texas - that is, not even in Florida - and fly them to Massachusetts. How are Floridians possibly okay with that?
My parents were both immigrants to this country. It is so horrifying to think that people tricked these folks. Shipped them without their knowledge and then gloat about some kind of ‘win’. What kind of Christian celebrates this? What kind of horrible people?
Even if you accepted the absurd contention that a president can simply-and without process-declassify any document, you'd have to ask why he would declassify and abscond with top secret docs revealing U.S. intel assets around the world.
If Republicans in Congress can issue protections for Supreme Court justices after peaceful protests, they should protect the American people from out-of-control gun violence after three mass shootings in two days.
“Back the Blue” Senators voted to acquit the former president after they helped incite a white supremacist insurrection that left police officers dead.
It was never about “Blue Lives” mattering. It was just about making sure Black lives don’t.
Our advocacy and organizing for racial justice & equity in schools must include and center Black girls and their experiences, voices, & perspectives. #PUSHOUTfilm
The failure to recognize the full humanity of Black girls is perpetuated through unjust and punitive policies. We need anti-racist policy change that promotes trauma-informed, restorative practices. #PUSHOUTfilm
When Black girls are unjustly singled out, policed, and pushed from their classrooms, they are denied the same opportunities – and the same future – that their white counterparts are afforded. #PUSHOUTfilm#BlackGirlsMatter
