Policing Insight’s Police Digital Experience Survey offers “qualitative, independent data and evidence” that poor digital, data and technology (DDaT) provision are driving officers and staff out of policing, according to one stakeholder at last month’s panel discussion event, while another confirmed senior officers will view the survey findings as a “call to action” to ensure improvements are made to DDaT that will enable officers and staff to better protect the public, as Policing Insight’s Keith Potter reports.

@CarersTrust Absolutely. Appropriate respite provision is abysmal, non existent. When was the last time those who can make a difference had a night out with friends or a holiday, 6.5 years?
The ICO's latest quarterly performance report reveals that it is now taking over 9 months just to allocate non-priority FOI complaints (the large majority) to a case officer! This is clearly a terrible state of affairs that frustrates the proper working of the FOI system.
The ICO has issued another enforcement notice to the Ministry of Defence due to its excessive FOI delays and "recurring volume of overdue requests". It says: "It is the responsibility of the MOD as an organisation as a whole to ensure that sufficient resources are in place".
