Their culture was also changed forever. The idea we have of Sparta was really not the reality post their victory. So many of their cultural norms had been broken.

Athens was small and insignificant by the time the Romans conquered it. Their civilisation died out largely due to Sparta.

@Jimmy2timeer @jonbrooks Why wait until you die, and pay inheritance tax? Why not take equity from the value of the home and give it to your children when they need it most. Most healthy people die at around 85 so children are around 60. This isn’t when people need the money.
