@GBDocInfo Mum was a Type 1 and because I had her at home for support, I was never admitted, just a few home visits from nurse in the first few weeks and then hospital out patient appointments

If you need call your bank urgently (eg its just called you, and you've hung up as it may be a scam) and can't remember its number, just call 159 and it'll put you through.

PS if you have had poss scam call, use a different line to call back (or wait an hour) in case they're spoofing a dial tone.

@sotonDSN If it’s any consolation I stacked it on Thursday night in school car park on way to meeting at my daughter’s school. Complete embarrassment, one of the teachers had to give me first aid, given first aid slip like the kids get and had to go to minor injuries to get my chin glued!

@Anna90523382 When I was pregnant with my daughter I met another lady at ante natal classes who was also Type 1, both of us had been diagnosed as teenagers. 10 years and we are still really good friends and support each other with diabetic related issues

@Anna90523382 Mum spotted signs and took me to dr. Had a good understanding as I was 15 and mum was diagnosed before I was born. Was lucky to have my mum for guidance as hospital decided I didn’t need to be admitted as I had my mum to support me

@GbdocTChost Days when stuff doesn’t work. The anxiety when trying to decide if there is a problem with my cannula and the numbers slowly increasing and deciding if it’s a blip or if it requires a pump/cannula change. Today’s anxiety was the fact I couldn’t shift a low for hours #GBDoc

@GbdocTChost I am quite happy to explain about my dexcom and my pump. There is sometimes a lot of confusion when they see my Dexcom and it has been confused for other things in the past #GBDoc
