If 500,000 Gazans (~25%) were in famine for only 3 months, by definition there'd be 9,000 starvation deaths. Yet Gaza's own Health Ministry reports 461 malnutrition deaths all war. Anyone claiming there was famine in Gaza must explain this enormous gap. They can't & won't.

Tonight Montreal City Council is set to vote on an anti-Israel motion brought by the opposition party Projet Montréal to cut all ties and disavow Israel.

Supporters of the motion today decided to stand outside city hall and chant "long live the intifada", which in our eyes glorifies multiple campaigns synonymous with terror attacks against Israeli civilians, including waves of suicide bombings and other deadly terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians.

Councillors should pay close attention to the rhetoric surrounding this campaign. Montreal should be standing against extremism and Jew hatred, not passing a motion that isolates and demonizes Israel.

This motion must be rejected.

There is/was never a genocide in Gaza. The opposite actually, one side (Israel) vaccinating, feeding, helping with all services (medical, drinking water, power) while taking extraordinary steps to protect civilians in the worst urban warfare scenario arguably ever seen and the other side (Hamas) doing everything it can to get civilians killed, stealing food, targeting civilians that do not do their demands. The mayor is a liar and worse.

The sequence of events overnight is important:

Hezbollah violated the ceasefire and struck an Israeli tank, killing four Israeli soldiers.

Israel responded with extensive IDF strikes against Hezbollah targets and infrastructure in southern Lebanon.

Then Iran canceled its planned trip to Switzerland, claiming Israel had violated the ceasefire.

Translation: Hezbollah attacks Israel. Israel responds. Iran uses Israel’s response as the excuse to delay diplomacy.
