@paullewismoney ALL privately owned businesses in the UK follow the same IHT rules. Millions of UK employees work for these businesses. EDUCATE yourself. Farmers still pay inheritance tax.
@PeteGibson2312@BladeoftheS Have you read the report? It is driven by a small minority (4%) who under report. But there are lots of (us) so that is why it is the largest gap.
@Mancman10@darrenpjones Also it’s whinge. I think that asset managers who are land banking should be taxed way more. As should the houses in the country who claim a pony field for APR. But starmer promised not to go for small private businesses (he lied).
@Mancman10@darrenpjones They certainly would moan about losing their homes and livelihoods as would their employees and the businesses they support. As a fitter he would have been sympathetic that engineers that support farmers were the first losers in the APR battle.
@sharronlb102@UnlikelyLadone@Robble_do I don’t think you have to be a multi millionaire to. Just a millionaire. If you moved to a smaller house would you be able to give up a little more tax?
@Mancman10@darrenpjones farmers are in their 60’s working on the farm since they were 16. They earn between £30k and £40K and support elderly parents on the farm. My case 1 elderly parent with dementia who owned the farm. They provide food for YOU they are the most responsible farmers in the world.
