4/6 As a 1st yr PhD student, my v eminent prof told me 'You're my colleague'. It wasn't lip service. I had the opportunity to develop my ideas for 5 yrs with fiercely intelligent people who would look me in the eye and treat me as an equal, despite decades of seniority.
