Is #fashionindustry dead with #sustainability issues of #textiles?
Not necessarily... today's De-carbon Heroes come from Finland-based @infinitedfiber
Today they announce a factory-size scaling up for their tech, #recycling textiles infinitely. 💚

@ProjectDrawdown@TrelleborgGroup is a good example of a traditional industrial company that never would occur to people as green, but is fighting not just to meet 2050 net zero but is fighting to get there ahead of schedule.
To halve CO2 by 2025 and go net zero by 2035.

Large chemicals corps could today be afraid. VERY afraid. 🙀
Today's De-carbon Hero @SolvayGroup demonstrates a different, decisive path to face the sustainability challenges.
Having started 2004, they sponsor #1000solutions and present 12 themselves!
https://t.co/lShKv27hG4
Today's De-Carbon heroes come from the Switzerland based @SolarImpulse Foundation. 🏆
The foundation has identified 1.000 economically efficient solutions to replace old polluting technologies with new clean ones! 💚
Great inspirational video: https://t.co/1UEILddsXn
#1000solutions. We did it 😁!
1000 ways to mitigate climate change,
1000 tools for governments to set higher targets,
1000 sources of efficiency, saving money, creating jobs.
Now let's go #beyond1000solutions
As we've said before, when it's important enough, we step outside of Europe.
And for us - nothing gets more important than this!
Today's De-carbon Heroes come from US based TAE Technologies, that have raised money and claimed to build a net-producing #fusion reactor 2030! 💚🏆
@TAE How can this have only 37 likes in 3 days? 👀
If this is true and real, it is the humanity's most significant milestone after learning to cook food and not just eat it raw!! 🏆
Forget AI. Net producing fusion is THE singularity!
Food out of thin air?! YES!
Sounds like a joke , but again, isn't that what plants do too, with water from below and energy from above? 🌻
Today's De-carbon heroes are Finland based @Solar_Foods
Food causes 30% of our #CO2#emissions, so this is insanely good for #netzero! 🏆
Today's De-carbon heroes are the members of Climate Action 100+
@ActOnClimate100 figures are mind numbing. $54 Tn. at work to bring 80% of the World's industrial emissions in alignment with #ParisAgreement. 💚
That's 54 x million x million. 😮
Never say, that money is bad.
A road to 0 is not a gamble - it needs an extensive plan!
Today's De-carbon hero is the British giant @Unilever for presenting a 53-page detailed plan, signed by both Chairman and CEO, how to get to #netzero in Scope 1, 2 AND 3 by 2039! 💚

Tides may turn, but they don't die. 🌊
Today's De-carbon hero is Swedish @MinestoAB producing electricity deep sea currents. ⚡
The technology is ready for scaling, ranging from very small 50kWh to 3 MW (a decent size wind turbine).
A very cool video : https://t.co/2z1YEEQh08
@Toby__Morgan The sooner we get the proper ISO-standard #LifeCycleAssesment as a legal requirement, the better. It will require huge amounts of work, but nothing else will end such greenwashing. ;(
A #digitaltwin of entire planet Earth for climate work! 😮
What we thought MUST be #AprilFoolsDay news, is VERY REAL (published March 9th).
Today's De-carbon Heroes are @ECMWF, @esa, @eumetsat and @cscsch for this incredible quest! 🏆

Today's De-carbon Heroes come from @hydrogenLOHC in Erlangen, Germany.
Making green #hydrogen is easy and cheap. 💚
Safe, efficient transportation and storage infra is not. 💀
Check out this incredibly cool solution that can use EXISTING infra! 🏆

Why not name the same company two days in a row, if they announce a 94% saving in CO2 while increasing production?
Today's De-carbon Hero is again @covestro!
This is how #Sustainability should be done. Not by shutting off the lights for the last time.
Our Deacon chlorine plant in Caojing, China now has a twin: Deacon II. This increases the efficiency of the entire site and at the same time the sustainability of our chlorine production, as corrresponding CO2 emissions are reduced from over 150 to just over 9 kilotons per year.
Today's De-carbon Hero, Germany-based @covestro.
We need more people to talk industrial #zeroemissions efforts, and here is their part in play.
Join a "Building a #Hydrogen Economy" talk this Wednesday, 31st March. We know we will! 💚

Today's De-carbon hero, Finland-based @tvo_fi 💚
Though construction badly late, their #OL3 got approved - the largest and most modern #nuclear plant in all #Europe, 1600MWh!
Here's the beef! 90% of electricity produced in #Finland is now carbon free!
https://t.co/ReugJ1AGgE
Today's De-carbon Heroes come from German @Henkel.
Who had thought that we will see a chemicals company racing ahead of target times and target goals both at the same time! Respect. 💚
#ClimateAction#NetZero#carbonneutral#EUGreenDeal
Today's De-carbon heroes are Germany based @BASF and @Lindeplc, and Saudi-Arabian @SABIC.
#steamcracking is a petrochemical process releasing around 200 million tons of CO2 annually. The 3 companies plan to shave 90% off this! 💚
