🌄 The sun rose over the crater.
For the first time since the impact ☄️, the sky was clear.
Golden light ☀️ broke through the smoke, falling across the ruins —
making the world shimmer, alive once more. ✨
At the foot of the hill ⛰️, where the village once stood, people gathered.
Some limped, some bore scars of light —
silver lines ⚡ etched into their skin, memories of survival.
But their faces were bright.
They lived. 🌌
In front of the old forge 🔥 stood Decay.
The ground beneath him still warm — the echo of the core humming faintly in the air.
Beside him, the Four Avatars stood:
🔥 Kael — gazing into the reborn flame,
💧 Nyra — her hand tracing the stream that now flowed from the earth,
⛰️ Orin — feeling the soil breathe again,
🌪️ Lyra — smiling as the wind returned to life.
The villagers stepped closer.
One by one, they bowed. 🙇♂️
No words — only silence.
A silence heavy with gratitude 🕯️.
A child approached 👣, holding a shard of the meteor ☄️ in small hands.
> “For you,” it whispered. “So you’ll never forget us.” 🩵
Decay took it — the shard pulsing softly 💎, as if becoming his new heart.
He looked to the Avatars — and they nodded.
This had not only been his battle ⚔️ —
it had been their rebirth. 🌅
Then came Enny. 💫
She stepped from the crowd, her golden-silver skin shimmering in the morning light ✨.
Without a word, she placed her hand upon his chest — where pain had once lived.
Decay drew her close, and for the first time in ages, he smiled. 💞
The crowd cheered softly 👏 — then louder 🔊.
Joy rose like dawn 🌄.
The end of darkness.
But then — a sound.
Low. Distant. Almost lost to the wind 🌬️.
A growl… rumbling from deep within the earth 🌋.
Not from the crater.
Not from the heavens.
From the world itself. 💀
The air flickered ⚡ — a black pulse beneath the soil.
The frequencies Decay had broken answered back.
A new heart began to beat… in the shadows. 🕯️

“But its children… lived.” 🖤
Decay opened his eyes.
The wind carried the last sparks away 🌬️💫.
He held Enny tighter 🫶 —
and on the horizon, the runes began to glow once more. 🔮

For a little while, the runes will grow quiet.
I’m taking a short creative pause to take care of a few things in the real world — the kind of things every traveler must sometimes stop and handle before continuing the journey.
DecayStory is not ending.
It is simply breathing.
Sometimes a story needs silence
before the next chapter can truly emerge.
Girska will still be there.
The Orders will still be listening.
And the frequencies will still be waiting.
