I don’t know how summer looks in any other European capital.

But I know it doesn’t look like this.

russian attacks on Kyiv since the beginning of summer:

▪️June 15: 5 killed.
▪️July 2: 31 killed.
▪️July 6: 19 killed.
▪️July 8: 4 killed.
▪️July 19: 1 killed.
▪️August 1: 9 killed.
▪️August 5: 1 killed in Kyiv, 16 across the region.
▪️August 20: 16 killed in Kyiv, 1 more in the region.

Hundreds wounded. Dozens of families shattered. And this is Kyiv and its region alone.

The world has the weapons to help stop this.
It has the air defenses and interceptors capable of shooting down russian missiles.

It has the means to act.

What it seems to lack is the political will — and the humanity.

How much more death will it take before the world finally stops pretending it doesn’t see?
