2023 was a difficult year for us in many ways, the worst was how it affected our director Michelle's health

Sadly we were forced to implement a zero tolerance policy & take out litigation insurance

Why anyone would want to harass a person who dedicates their life to helping the vulnerable is beyond comprehension but it happens & is all too common in the charity sector

If it happens to you use a decision making tree, use the block button & take care of you because without you the world is a poorer place

How terribly sad that someone who visited our home today asked us to put our dogs in another room.

The visitor has previously visited many, many times and interacted with our dogs happily.

When we asked what had made them concerned they said "You hear a lot these days about big dogs attacking people, I don't want to take any chances"

How terribly sad for our sweet girls whose only crime today was their size 😡

We are so upset for them 😭😭😭😭😭

Morning 20 years ago today I was sectioned for the 1st time it was a horrible experience too detailed to put on a social media post. The publicity it received went Worldwide I was front page news for the wrong reason TV crews at my door, helicopter overhead. I'm told that from that day Mental health issues suddenly were not swept under the carpet, & hushed up. The only positive from that day for me is the awareness of Mental Health all over the UK. My main problem there is still lots of talk but far more actions need to be taken & our Government need to put their hand in their pockets & actually address Mental Health issues properly not just talk about it.
