I sometimes feel foolish bringing small things to God.
The car sits dead in the driveway or a bill arrives heavier than the money in the account. Part of me wants to sort the pain before I pray, placing the cancer scan near the front and the small ache somewhere in the back, as if my Father needs me to decide what deserves His attention.
“See what great love the Father has given us that we should be called God’s children, and we are!” 1 John 3:1.
And we are..I can hardly get past those three words.
If I am His child, I do not have to rank my hurts before I bring them home. God may not fix every inconvenience the way I ask. He may use the delay, ache, interruption or disappointment to loosen my grip on this world. Yet He never despises the child who comes to Him through Christ.
Take Him the diagnosis, the overdue bill and the small burden you keep telling yourself should not hurt this much.
Come home with it.
Your Father is already turned toward the door.
@Nick162879@KwenMaye@MichelleObama Wow! 25 miserable years in a relationship. Yikes! No happy person goes around spreading hate randomly. May the next phase of your relationship be as you deserve. 🤗
@PelicanLegend@John_ONeill1213@FoxNews Yep!
“Therefore pride serves as their necklace; Violence covers them like a garment.”

@seth0064764@askcliffe I wholeheartedly agree. We will all likely experience doubts at some point, but forcing ourselves to doubt would be as a way of deconstructing maybe?
Two years ago, today.
When Brazilian channel TV Globo caught this live: a young Fluminense fan's sashaying emotions - from despair to dizzy, delirious tears - as the 99th minute winning goal went in. ❤️
Be brave today. You’re stronger than you know.
You’re held safe in our great God’s mercy. He will be with you.
Even if you can’t see the whole pathway forward, trust goodness is ahead. Just cling to His Truth… and let God light the way step by step.
@mendezr88@jcschmieder@WWURD_Official@BroSpencer Please seek the Holy Spirit on this topic, I beg of you. The spirit you're talking about asking to pray for you is not "mother Mary". We're not supposed to speak to spirits other than the Holy Spirit of God.
@mendezr88@jcschmieder@WWURD_Official@BroSpencer How do you ask a dead person to pray for you? Talk to the living God and ask those who are alive to intercede for you. Otherwise you're talking to demons.
@clare_mcivor I don't understand. Idolatry is worshipping anything other than God Himself. The pope is not a god. Blasphemy is denying the Holy Spirit. Trump is cosplaying at most. Now if He comes for Jesus, then we have a problem.
