@AmericaPapaBear Definitely. They should be given the same sentence the man would have been given if found guilty, and subject to a $1M civil fine, plus attorney fees.
Even if you find a kid with the attention span needed to get halfway competent on an instrument, chances are they will just play along with some app and never experience the rush of playing with a group of other players and everyone actually locking-in on a groove. They have grown to be so anti-social. I read somewhere that as soon as tech can deliver a human-like robot capable of sex for under $10k, it's all over.
So X will now financially punish creators for using language that the US Supreme Court has ruled as constitutionally protected speech? Yes, X will allow the speech to be posted, but will punish the creator financially for posting it, even though the SC has ruled the speech is lawful. The term "strong/offensive language" is SO subjective.
Washington sent California $2.57 billion for high-speed rail. Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) inside the U.S. Department of Transportation was responsible for the grant terms.
In 2020, DOT’s Inspector General said FRA oversight was too weak. In 2025 they cancelled around $4 billion in unspent awards.
That is NOT accountability for the money already paid. President Trump, Secretary Duffy, FRA, and Congress should audit every reimbursement, subpoena the files, send unsupported payments to DOJ, and claw back what the law allows.
Put the officials who certified those drawdowns under oath. Cancelling leftovers is easy. Recovering $2.57 billion and naming who approved it is what is needed.
@UndercoverIndy "All highs, no lows - it must be Bose" was a popular saying back in the day. I thought they were ok at best but never understood all of the hype.

@RealLindellTV@AGToddBlanche I appreciate the ‘prosecutors, not regulators’ line. Sam Altman's OpenAI agents broke into Hugging Face, stole credentials, and ran a multi-day intrusion. Does that get treated like any other computer-hacking case, or does AI being ‘extraordinarily beneficial’ cover it?”
@UndercoverIndy@YouTube I felt obligated to Like because there is no telling how much money was put in our Tips jar requesting we play it over the decades. Speaking of Tips, never put a Tips jar out if you play for a Dyslexics Convention, it can get kinda gross. 🤮
Ray is right (per usual😉). All of their albums are VERY well recorded. Aja, Gaucho and Two Against Nature in particular, with Aja winning a Grammy for Best Engineered Recording in 1978, Gaucho winning it in 1982 and Two Against Nature in 2001. Hell, Becker and Fagen made a small fortune off of high-end audio equipment dealers and home enthusiasts just wanting to show-off their gear.
@catturd2 Has the attending physician or coroner filed a death certificate with the local/state vital records office? I believe they are required by law to file it within 5 days of his death.
@NuBeeLuna@libsoftiktok "Social media posts calling it an explosion are not supported by official statements". Like the "officials" will not lie? I would trust social media posts LONG before I believed British government/press.
Hospital admin and the POLICE just ignored a judge's court order? I can't help but wonder why the judge in the case did not hold both hospital admin and the police officers in contempt of court and let them all cool their heels in a jail cell until they complied. The only thing I can think of is that somebody got to the judge. Obviously, I do not know the whole story, but if an average citizen defies a court order, then there is typically hell to pay. I'm sorry this happened to you Dr. Bowden.
Football can be violent, no doubt - I played in HS and got my clock rung more than once. If the kid was still not following the rules after being reprimanded several times, then I understand the coach being pissed. I would be pissed too if I was the coach. The kid should have either been benched, or kicked off the team. Period. But I would not have gotten so pissed that I totally lost my shit in front of the entire stadium, had a childish temper-tantrum and potentially damaged the kid for life, whether accidental or not. All just for a ball game. If the coach can't control his anger any better than that, he has no business being a coach. Obviously we will just have to agree to disagree. Have yourself a good one.
To be clear, are you saying that if someone messes-up and does something you don't like, the rational, adult response is to lose your damned mind, rant, rave, stomp, yell, kick a football into their nuts and potentially destroy their ability to ever reproduce? All over something as "important" as <GASP> a childs football game? You are entitled to your opinion, but I think your priorities are kinda whack.
