@AnthonyDeMarc07@beh353 That's an amazing plan Demarc! I really like how you're looking out for your patients well being no just in terms of medicine, but also within their lifestyle @beh353#beh353
I plan to share how good nutrition can benefit one's mental health as it is something most healthcare workers do not consider to help with someone who suffers from mental health issues and push them in the right direction and help them take control of it @beh353#beh353
@EmmaDArpinoRD Thank you so much for your lecture! I didn't realize that junk doesn't always mean foods that are unhealthy like some chips and sweets. Rather it is processed foods that are cheaper and have a longer shelf life @beh353#beh353
@AnthonyDeMarc07@beh353 I really like and enjoyed reading this article. I was able to follow it all the way through without issue. It is really nice when the reader of an article feels like they're involved through reading. It makes it easier to absorb the information @beh353#beh353

I would recommend this link to my patients as a psychiatrist. It's mentioned that there is a link between nutrients from one's diet and the chances of getting depression and reducing the effects if one already has it @beh353#beh353
@AnthonyDeMarc07@beh353 Hey Anthony, I fully agree that it is shameful how some MD's act like this when their patients need proper help and treatment. @beh353#beh353
I think it's sad and shameful that people MD's abuse their title and don't properly assess their patients who are overweight. MD's shouldn't be neglecting them/their problems. They should be treated like other patients, respectfully and with the right treatment @beh353#beh353
@AnthonyDeMarc07@beh353 I like how you mention not to fat shame others as it seriously can belittle one's self confidence of entire perspective about themselves. I also love how positive your tweets are!!
I found it interesting sleep effects obesity. I knew that lack of sleep can effect one's metabolism, but I did not know that it was related to an increase in obesity. I was misinformed before and thought that obesity was linked mainly to food intake. @beh353#beh353
I used to struggle with the barrier of money during my first year of university when I wanted to eat out or order food. I would always choose between fast food and well cooked meals like a 4for4 vs ramen at $14. Now I cook more so I spend less when eating out. @beh353#beh353
@AnthonyDeMarc07@beh353 Hi Demarc, I agree that your dad should stop taking these multivitamins. There are a lot of vitamins that aren't needed in this. Is he taking these cuz he isn't getting enough vitamins from his current diet? Maybe some alternative food options can help @beh353#beh353
I take collagen gummies to help my joints in the gym. There’s a lot of biotin which can be safe but has risks like sleep issues and thirst. There’s also a high amount of zinc (nausea) and vitamin E (bleeding risk and fatigue). I have to find a better alternative @beh353#beh353
This pop press article talks about US diet and how it affected American's health over the years and changes can be made for overall health improvements. This article is meant for the general public making it good for a patient and high quality @beh353

@gsamaan2020 @beh353 That’s a lot of carbs per serving! I used to think that snacks with peanut butter in them would be healthy, but after seeing the food label you posted I think I’ll be making my own peanut butter snack from now on @beh353#beh353
I was so surprised to see how many vitamins are in a can or red bull and the percentage of them. I didn’t think that energy drinks had that many vitamins and thought that it was purely caffeine and other chemicals @beh353#beh353
My usual go to is pasta with pesto. I ate this growing up a lot and enjoyed it every time. It's not the healthiest, but is really comforting. I can substitute wheat pasta in for regular pasta, add salmon or chicken for protein, and tomatoes and basil for veggies @beh353#beh353
@AnthonyDeMarc07@beh353 Wow! Your choice for minestrone soup sounds amazing, Anthony! I've never had it with any source of protein aside from black beans. I have to try making this. I have to say nothing beat a hot bowl of ramen on a late night. Your soup sounds amazing! @beh353#beh353
@AnthonyDeMarc07@beh353 Wow Anthony! You sure had some wonderful food that day. The pasta sounds soooo good. I know how much you like your blue cheese haha. I'm wondering with such a full day of food what you're forgetting @beh353#beh353
2 fried eggs cooked in pesto for breakfast with an iced latte. Two bbq chicken quesadillas for lunch with Diet Coke. Pasta with salmon and pesto and more Diet Coke for dinner. I'd say that this is pretty accurate with what I ate. I used to chart all the food I ate in hs @beh353
