@loongshih This post vastly overestimates the Ming militarily, while users under this post vastly overestimate Spain logistically. Spain was, military wise, better than the Ming. But even if distance wasn't a factor, defeating the Ming is much easier than actually holding China.
@RomanMemeSquad Bonus idea: if you 1) survive, as you are already pretty old for that era 2) business thrives, try to cozy your way up into the Age of Exploration, accellerating it. It's absurdly difficult, but maybe you can found your sweet New Constantinople?
@RomanMemeSquad Basically, do everything to a T, but prepare to flee in advance and to salvage as much wealth and followers just before the beginning of the siege. Then, use the goodwill bought with the act of union to settle in Italy. Start a business with easy modern inventions. Get richer.
@JJMMHH80@healthychangez We are patronizing and self-aggrandizing, yes, but the average person usually tends to be polite to non italians, we don't want to be maleducati. Regional hate has not been relevant since the early 2010s. Oh, and we don't understand italian spoken with English spelling rules.
@GroovySciFi Nonsense. Italian women eat pasta all the time, it's staple food. And portion control is hardly just an Italian skill. The reasons are twofold: the mediterranean diet and a cultural terror of getting fat, especially for women, that predates diet culture.
@karloss19991 Milan meanwhile, literally lives on 'we won 7 champions!!' so much that it became a meme. A Milan fan basically lives on Berlusconi Era vibes, but Berlusconi is gone, and since he left the Club, the club is struggling to find its identity, and so it's falling behind inter again.
@karloss19991 I'm not saying that Milan is a plastic club, but meanwhile the other two clubs had a deep fanbase structure. Juve was attractive because of its storied, ruthless winning mentality, Inter because it embraced ups and downs as part of its DNA, as 'crazy Inter' >>>
@JesusPG_ATM@ElainaMalvada@MrDarki257 I think you'll be surprised by how many people think. Remember that death is inevitable either way; comfort is not.
@JesusPG_ATM@ElainaMalvada@MrDarki257 Whatever the case you're making, even if just 10% of people die overnight, and you will have a badtime. Pressing blue is mantaining the status quo; pressing red is gambling away your lifestyle. I will put it that way: just 1% of death is at least 5-10 years of progress erased.
@wagahaikirby@seisaku_tyosaku Bolognese sauce, tomato sauce, aglio e olio, and canned tuna sauce are everyday pastas. Carbonara, amatriciana, gnocchi with anything, tortellini/ravioli are once a week. Lasagna is for special occasions.
