Most of your problems come from lacking the capacity to retain energy and the bandwidth to direct it.
You are a narrow stream, and anything more than your usual throughput just overflows upon the shores of your shallow banks, ending up completely out of your control.
Examples.
Money is energy. If you're constantly broke, you have a low capacity for retaining it.
As soon as you find yourself with $100 extra you feel the need to let it spill from you and spend it. This is why you always live "up to your means" and never seem to have a dollar to spare.
The good news is you can deepen the reservoir, widen the riverbed, shore up the banks.
The next time you find yourself ahead of your bills in the slightest, with a bit of 'spending money', or you get a raise and feel that you can take on a new expense... take a moment to feel that excited anxiety of "what do I do with this extra money?" Sit with it until you become calm and no longer feel excited about it. No longer feel that it is extra. That is your capacity increasing.
Desire is energy. If you struggle with bad habits and feel undisciplined, you have a low bandwidth for directing it.
As soon as something catches your fancy and promises an escape from your daily monotony, it overloads your intentional desire pathways and the energy arcs directly from the perception of novel stimulus to the decision to act on it.
So the next time you find yourself battling the impulse to indulge a distraction or a bad habit, stop fighting and take a moment to feel that pull. Sit with the impulse, without acting on it, but importantly: tell yourself you can act on it in a few minutes if you really want to.
This will pacify the panicked "I need it now" part of your brain that usually wins out in these struggles, and the longer you sit with the impulse, the more you increase your bandwidth for intentionally directing desire.
Countless examples like this exist in our daily lives.
Emotional pain, lack of discipline, financial hardship, romantic struggles.
All stem from an untrained capacity to retain and direct a certain kind of energy.
Like any muscle or any pathway, they can be trained.
We're the descendants of European inventors, explorers, pioneers, and frontiersmen, actually.
You might be thinking of Australians. Who somehow still manage to be doing better than their place of origin currently.

Light is an instantaneous and nonlocal interaction. The particles of the lightbulb are in a high energy state, the ones in your eyes are in a low energy state, the two mutually imitate, and move toward equilibrium.

Then allow me to correct myself to say "a former and/or potential future living being", and elaborate that even with vitrification, a substantial amount of cellular and molecular damage occurs in the most critical organic structures.
The brain being the most glaringly problematic one.
Replacing all of the water/blood in the brain with freeze-resistant chemicals is its own problem which, even if you could achieve it, would probably cause an entirely new set of irreversible damages to the very delicate neural tissues.
Most forms of anti-freeze aren't known for their lack of toxicity.
I'm not saying cryogenic resurrection will never ever be possible, but I highly doubt any currently preserved individuals will be successfully resurrected.
I believe the actual cryogenic cooling process will need to be greatly improved to reduce initial damage to marginal levels before there's any hope of a success.
