Elon Musk claims that Ukraine allegedly violated Starlink's terms of use and used the system on combat drones.
As someone who was inside the process at the Ministry of Defense, I can say with certainty that this is not true.
In February of this year, whitelists were introduced. Stationary terminals could be registered by both military personnel and civilians.
But for any satellite terminal to work while on the move, it had to be added to a special list and connected to the military Starshield system. Otherwise, no satellite communication terminals in Ukraine would work.
In other words, using civilian Starlink for drone missions was technically impossible. All drone missions that required satellite communication could only be carried out using Starshield.
We are very grateful to the United States and SpaceX for access to critically important satellite communications. Ukraine did not violate the terms of use.
@HumphreyBohun@Mylovanov It's impossible for Germany when discussing Palantir or investment in European space programme to not say that in one form or another.
A book "The Struggle for the Trump's Ears" from the WH insiders might be a bestseller once all this is over.
@elonmusk@grok, has Zelensky, and consequently Ukrainian government, accepted the initial proposal by the US to froze the conflict along the current lines? How long has that been their position? Has Ukraine conducted successful counterattack such as Operation Vivaldi?
"The United States isn't sufficiently clear with Putin in telling him what an intergalactic creep he is."
This is correct and I like the new term "an intergalactic creep".
Boris Johnson: When I hear some of the language from the White House and its emissaries about Putin, I don't like it.
The United States isn't sufficiently clear with Putin in telling him what an intergalactic creep he is. 1/
If these numbers persist, Germany is on track to become the largest supplier of Patriot ammunition to Ukraine, solely through the PAC-2 GEM-T production being launched in Germany. Additional funding via PURL and JUMPSTART clearly underlines this development.
Germany has already placed an order for 600 PAC-2 GEM-T missiles for Ukraine, to be manufactured at the factory opening in Germany, at a cost of a staggering โฌ3.2 billion. These are due to be delivered between 2027 and 2031, i.e. an average of 120 per year (although deliveries will, of course, start off more slowly).
In addition, Germany continues to provide regular funding for the purchase of additional Patriot ammunition, in particular US-manufactured PAC-3 missiles, via PURL and JUMPSTART. Most recently, in June 2026, Germany provided funding for PAC-3 missiles worth $200 million via JUMPSTART and for additional missiles for air defence systems via PURL, also amounting to $200 million.
In addition to this, it is also to be expected that small batches of PAC-2 and PAC-3 missiles (single to low double-digits) will be supplied from Bundeswehr stocks from time to time, as has been the case on several occasions this year.
"We may do another little Epic Fury, or they'll agree."
President Trump teases another potential U.S. strike on Iran if Tehran doesn't reach a deal.
"If they're smart, they'll just say, 'Let's get down to business.' But, you know, I doubt they'll do that because perhaps they're not smart."

NEW!! Zelenskyy says Rubio assured him during their call (earlier this week) that Ukraineโs Starlink access would be fully restored within 48โ72 hours.
@gmmds , does one need to be registered now to access your blog?
I am glad to register and/or pay subscription, but would need some information on how to do it :)
@RLHeinrichs It's strange that a country with roughly 5x times bigger population than Ukraine wasn't able to defeat the country torn with corruption, while itself being best of Switzerland and Singapore combined.
@Douglas94342267@elonmusk Well,if things wouldn't be worse in Russia, the war would be indeed over by now. But the genius of all geniuses apparently doesn't understand that.
