@Nairametrics I’m curious why the pie chart is not drawn to scale. Number 1 represents about 50% of the market, yet it appears smaller than a quadrant.
@farzyness What is the most effective path for a mid-level professional in sub Sahara Africa to succeed in today's digital economy bearing in mind the rules of the game changed with AI and that skills and certifications are no longer a moat. He schooled locally and not in STEM Discipline?
🚨 Breaking: Argentina's 🇦🇷 annual GDP growth now stands at 5.8%, the highest in the Western world, and higher than China!
@JMilei's miracle is unstoppable!
The countdown to a #NewNigeria is on. It's inevitable. One #nation under #God born with #TOKO thru the concept of #AboriginalDemocracy, after the storm & the dust settles. See it. Believe it. Expect it. #WeAreOneFamily, we belong together. & we'll eat the good of this land.🇳🇬
Good morning, #Nigeria! 🇳🇬
We're at the cusp of a major crisis. When the dust settles, a #NewNigeria, one #nation under #God inspired by #TOKO, thru the concept of #AboriginalDemocracy will arise out of the ashes. #WeAreOneFamily & we'll eat the good of the land. Amen! 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
The UK is adrift, unable to define a position in the world. We can adopt one of three strategic positions that are a natural fit …
1. The HQ of the EU.
This is what we were prior to Brexit. The rest of the world saw the UK as a perfect place to base their European head office. To adopt this position again, we would have to re-enter the EU in some form.
2. The USA back office and incubator.
This would mean interfacing very closely with the USA and providing services and developing talent and innovation that can scale across the USA. The catch would be that the UK would have to be in lockstep with the US on all issues - including factory produced food and insane healthcare systems (the two big issues most Brits hate).
3. The Entrepreneur Island
This would position the UK as the best place to start and scale a new company or investment vehicle. There would be a massive focus on digital/creator economy(growing 23% you). The model would have to be low crime, low tax, low regulations. We would have to tolerate a bit of wild-west shenanigans. We’d be competing with Dubai, Ireland and Singapore for this role - we could easily win this. Basically we pick up the template from Jersey/Isle of Man/Gibraltar and bring it to the main island. This would cause a massive influx of wealth as people return from lower tax jurisdictions and even US companies explore basing their global HQ here.
Until we pick a “business model” and “brand position” we will continue to drift into obscurity.
Which model do you think is best?
