But "Qutub Minar's" Iron pillar is 1600 years old.

They themselves say that Iron pillar pre-dates Qutub Minar, then how can it be "Qutub Minar's" Iron pillar? This is how these propaganda historians spread falsehood.

When I teach basic mechanics and physics to kids today, trying to explain how an 81-ton solid granite block was hoisted 200+ feet into the air without a single hydraulic crane completely blows their minds. Designing a 6-km long inclined ramp just to roll that kumbam to the top is a breathtaking display of applied physics. Building something magnificent is difficult.

Convincing generation after generation that it is worth preserving is far harder.

The granite is an engineering marvel.

Only 6 years to build this marvel in the 10 th century ! By Raja Chola who was NEVER mentioned in the History of India I was taught . Difficult to give back my certificate now as the distinction in history I received helped me secure a scholarship . And I never heard of Raja Chola .
Pardon me for writing this . In fact , I thought Bollywood used it as some sort of abuse . Being a little bit paranoid today I wonder whether this was done deliberately to denigrate the Chola Great Rajah .

Comparisons are futile but for me one of India's greatest engineering achievements remains the 217 feet tall shadowless Brihadisvara Temple built by Raja Raja Chola I in 1010.

Crafted with giant interlocked stones and crowned by an 81 ton kumbam, it was built within six years.
