- This is Padma Shri Kinnera artist Darshanam Mogilaiah.
- He was given a 600-square-yard residential plot as an honour for his contribution.
- But for the last 2 years, he has been running from government offices to courts just to get it.

CAPTAIN NEIKEZHAKUO KENGURUSE, MVC (Posthumous), from Nagaland.
Just 25 years old and merely six months in the Army, he led his men up a near vertical cliff at 16,000 feet in -10°C temperatures under heavy enemy fire.
Shot badly in the stomach, bleeding profusely, he refused to stop. When his platoon’s boots failed on a sheer wall of ice, Captain Kenguruse did the unthinkable he removed his boots and socks and climbed barefoot.
With bloodied toes gripping the frozen rock and carrying his rocket launcher, he scaled the cliff. Reaching the top, he single handedly destroyed enemy bunkers. Out of ammunition, he charged with his commando knife, killing four enemy soldiers in hand-to-hand combat before making the supreme sacrifice.
A warrior whose bare feet conquered where boots failed.
