بعد وصولي من رحلة لندن أبلغني مدير المقصورة أن فيه راكب عنده سؤال ويريد مقابلتي .. قلت حياه الله
وأثناء خروجي من الطائرة وجدت الراكب ينتظرني على الجسر وبعد السلام قال لي..

شغل لي المقطع وكان مصور الزعنفة الصغيرة Flaperon وهي تتحرك باستمرار أثناء الطيران.. كما تشاهدونها في الفيديو المرفق.
حقيقة شدني سؤاله.. وفي نفس الوقت أحزنني أنه ظل يراقب حركة هالزعنفة من لندن إلى جدة والسؤال يدندن في رأسه طوال الرحلة 🤔
عموماً...هالزعنفة اسمها Flaperon وهي جزء من نظام مخصص لقمع المطبات الهوائية أثناء التحليق.. يتوفر هذا النظام في أغلب الطائرات عريضة البدن .. ورغم أن فكرة هذا النظام موجودة في بعض الطائرات منذ سنوات إلا أن البوينغ طورتها في الـ787 بشكل ملحوظ لتصبح أكثر دقة وكفاءة في التعامل مع المطبات الهوائية.. يعتمد هذا النظام على أجهزة استشعار دقيقة موزعة في أجزاء مختلفة من الطائرة ترصد باستمرار تغيرات الرياح والاضطرابات الجوية وخلال جزاء من الثانية يرسل النظام أوامر إلى هذه الزعنفة وهي متواجدة في الجناحين لتتحرك بعكس الحركة التي يسببها المطب فتقلل من قوته وتخفف جزء كبير من الأحمال الناتجة عن المطب.. لذلك يكون الإحساس بالمطبات أخف بكثير على الركاب وأكثر راحة..

Senator Ashley Moody gaveled in another pro forma session yesterday, helping block President Trump’s recess appointments while the Senate is on recess.

This isn’t fighting for Floridians or the America First agenda.

It’s Senate procedural games that stall key appointments.

ENOUGH.

It’s time to PRIMARY Ashley Moody in August.

Florida deserves a Senator who actually delivers for President Trump and the people, not one who helps block him.

Yesterday’s Supreme Court decision reflects that the capture of government by big industry is nearly complete. It affirmed the right of chemical companies to injure, maim, and even kill you and your children with their pesticides, herbicides, etc., with near complete impunity.

This means you can expect increasingly toxic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, rodenticides, etc., because the more toxic they are, the better they will kill weeds, pests, etc. And farmers that then use the most effective products, no matter how harmful to humans, will have a competitive advantage. The result will be that the farmer who adopts the most effective products (meaning most toxic) will have the largest crop yield. Other farmers, to compete, will then also be forced to adopt the more harmful product. With that, the race to the bottom has begun.

I expect that in the coming decades we will look back and wish to return to the “safer days” of glyphosate. So, bottom line: your government has abandoned you and your children. Think about this decision: 7 out of 9 Supreme Court judges sided with the chemical company against the public, and Trump’s DOJ intervened in the case on the side of the chemical company. Anyone who thinks this administration cares about you over industry profit is, at this point, delusional.

Shame on the DOJ, shame on the Trump admin, and shame on the Supreme Court for letting chemical companies get away with injuring, maiming, and killing Americans with their products instead of just allowing normal market forces to protect us and our children. Now, in addition to vaccines, we can add pesticides, etc., to the list of products that can injure and kill with near complete immunity.

Below is the decision and, in a nutshell, it holds that failure to warn claims brought under state law (which is the primary type of claim one would bring for harms from a pesticide, herbicide, etc.) are preempted by the EPA-approved label such that, if the harm is not on the label, your claim loses (since EPA didn’t add it to the label as a harm), and if the harm is on the label, your claim loses (since it has been disclosed on the label). Meaning heads or tail they win, and you and your children lose.

My wife and I own Forest Park Pharmacy, and we don't accept insurance. None of it. That decision is exactly why we could fix what happened to a patient today.

A family came in wanting to transfer their kid's antibiotic to us. The child had already STARTED the course. Then, mid-treatment, the insurance company decided the last 14 tablets suddenly needed a "prior authorization" before the other pharmacy could hand them over. A sick kid, halfway through an antibiotic, and the answer was "please hold."

The drug is linezolid. It's a generic. It's been generic for over a decade. It treats serious gram-positive infections — the kind you do NOT want to stop antibiotics in the middle of, because an interrupted course is how you breed resistant bugs and end up right back where you started.

So why the hold-up on a cheap, common generic? Follow the fake math.

Insurance and the PBMs behind them price drugs off a number called AWP — "Average Wholesale Price." People in my industry have another name for it: "Ain't What's Paid." It's a benchmark number, not a real-world cost. On paper, the AWP for just those last 14 tablets is about $2,500.

My cash price for the same 14 tablets? $18.

Read that again. The system that's supposedly "protecting" this family from cost is the same system that inflated an $18 medication into a $2,500 line item, then slapped a prior auth on it to "review the expense" THEY invented. They manufactured the problem, then billed everyone for the privilege of solving it — and made a sick kid wait while they did it.

This is the whole game. When a drug is priced honestly, there's nothing to "manage." When it's priced off a fantasy benchmark, you get spread pricing, PA paperwork, pharmacy phone trees, and delayed treatment — all dressed up as cost control.

Here's the part nobody tells you: roughly 90% of prescriptions are low-cost generics. For the vast majority of what people pick up every day, running it through insurance does two things — raises the real cost and risks delaying your care. That's it. That's the value-add.

That's why we fired the insurance companies. No middleman deciding your kid can't finish their antibiotics on schedule. No fake prices. Just the real number, on the shelf, today.

The medication was always cheap. The insurance was the expensive part.
