A two-week injunction was granted 2/24 against the East Phillips Roof Depot demolition! The fight continues! 📣 We keep organizing! 📨: [email protected]
This weekend, the Mayor canceled our 8/25 meeting about a change to the Roof Depot purchase agreement, which EPNI sent in June
The Mayor has the power to negotiate a fair deal for East Phillips, each day that passes without reply deepens a long legacy of municipal neglect here
REMINDER: EPNI's community meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, June 18th, 4-6pm
We'll fill our plates starting at 4pm and settle in for a round of updates and discussion starting at 4:30pm
EPNI did not receive $5.7 mil promised to complete our current purchase agreement. We've secured the other $10.2 million, but now face a big obstacle to closing as planned this fall.
Join us on 6/18 to learn more & find the path forward. Statement here: https://t.co/9OksYabfEv

Much to everyone’s surprise, people in East Phillips stepped outside last week to the smells and sights of the Smith Foundry being demolished
Officials have pledged daily updates. We'll continue to share these updates and fight for overdue environmental justice in East Phillips
My office is receiving an influx of constituent correspondence regarding demolition occurring at the Smith Foundry.
I have reached out to City Staff to learn more about this issue, who was communicated with, and the process for this to occur. I will communicate soon.
A preview of some speakers and performers for Sunday’s celebration!
This gathering is in honor of the act of community resistance outside the Roof Depot warehouse two years ago on February 21st, as well as the resilience of decades past and years to come
It’s been nearly two years since community occupied the Roof Depot site. Two years since leaders at Little Earth led the protest that helped to stop demolition of the contested warehouse and break a long cycle of pollution in East Phillips ❤️🔥
More event details to come soon! 💫
