I am deeply humbled and grateful to receive this Peace Advocacy Award.

For me, this honour is deeply personal. I dedicate this award to the cause of peace that I have carried in my heart for many years, the hope that one day our world will know less of war, hatred, suffering and division, and more of understanding, reconciliation, justice and unity.

I accept this award not as a celebration of myself, but as a reminder of the responsibility I have chosen to carry: to speak for peace, to stand for peace, and to continue believing in peace even when the journey is difficult.

My heartfelt gratitude goes to the World Leaders Summit, in conjunction with the Oxford University School of Examinations, for recognising and honouring my commitment to this important cause.

I dedicate this honour to all those who have walked with me, supported me, prayed for me, challenged me, and believed in the vision of a more peaceful world.

I also dedicate it to the generations yet to come, that they may inherit a world where peace is not simply a dream, but a reality.

Above all, I thank God. Every step of this journey has been guided by faith, and I receive this honour with humility and gratitude.

Fulani's Milit!∆ k!ll£d Five as Pastor Is Found Dead After Abduction In Plateau 💔😭

Plateau State was hit by a series of violent incidents overnight, leaving at least five people dead and several communities shaken.

Among the victims was Pastor Hills Emmanuel, a Ghanaian-Nigerian cleric and founder of The Wonderful Grace of God Evangelical Ministry in Bokkos.

Emmanuel and his colleague, Pastor Gabriel Joseph Dipak of Christ Apostolic Church, were reportedly abducted on Friday, August 28, while travelling from Jos to Bokkos along the Barkin Ladi–Bokkos road.

Witnesses said armed Fulani men stopped the commercial vehicle carrying nine passengers and took the two pastors away. The other passengers were reportedly robbed of their phones and cash before being released.

Emmanuel’s body was discovered early Saturday morning near the location where the abduction occurred.

Later that night, reports emerged of additional attacks in communities across Riyom, Barkin Ladi and Mangu LGAs. One woman was reportedly killed in Fang village, two people were killed in Radura village, while another person was injured in Chakfem.

The whereabouts of Pastor Dipak remained a major concern as of Saturday afternoon, with reports that his family had been contacted by the abductors.

The incidents have renewed concerns over the worsening security situation in Plateau State and the vulnerability of rural communities to attacks and abductions.

Authorities are expected to investigate the incidents and establish the identities and motives of those responsible.
