Received a take down notice from X.

The Cyberabad Police took severe objections to me posting a video of a policemen who slapped a middle aged man during a drunk & drive test.

I tweeted around 8:35pm, got this notice at 1:40am.

Apparently! The son of the man who was slapped by the police raised a complaint for publishing the video without consent. FYI - this video is not a private video.

In less than four hours of me posting, the family filed a complaint & police realised how harmful it is, decided to take action & wrote to X for taking it down.

Btw! Remember the POCSO accused and son of Union Minister X’s son Bandi Bageerath case? Immediately after the victim’s family filed a case - a slew of handles on all social media platforms (X, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram) put out private videos of the MINOR VICTIM, dehumanising her and slut-shaming her. Some of those videos are still in public domain.
Whatever was taken down happened after at least a week, after shaming the victim to their masters’ contentment!

Different cases, different priorities. A there are strict guidelines from the honourable Supreme Court of India against disclosing details of rape victims and even more stricter guidelines about POCSCO victims!

Also- if we have to take consent, 99percent of news cannot be published.

Cyberabad/ Hyderabad/ Telangana police can instead use this time and energy to apologise for the overreach of their officer in duty & may be train them.

If police want to handout instant punishments, we can shutdown judicial offices and courts!

It is Day 32 of incarceration for @HassanSiddiqei.

His “crime”: reposting a tweet.

His real crime? Being an ordinary Indian Muslim man who did not understand how brutally selective this system can be. He was naive enough to believe a retweet was not worth losing his freedom, livelihood and family’s peace over.

He is not a hardened criminal. Not a mastermind. Not a threat to society.

Yet bail has already been denied twice.

In today’s India, the powerful can spread poison openly and walk free. But a poor, unaware man can be dragged hundreds of kilometers away from home and kept behind bars over a repost.

The punishment is not for the tweet. The punishment is for who he is and how powerless he is.

Many warned me, cautioned me, and were even concerned for my safety while I was reporting on the Bandi Bageerath POCSO case.

As anticipated, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandi Sanjay, filed a defamation suit in the Vacation Bench of the City Civil Court, Hyderabad.

I am one among 100 others who reported on this very important issue.

Three of my tweets have been mentioned in the defamation suit. His counsel requested that these 100 odd links be removed from all social media platforms.

The defamation suit is for Rs 1 crore.

Bandi Sai Bageerath, son of Union Minister X, was implicated in a POCSO case involving a 17 year old minor. He absconded for almost nine days before finally getting arrested/surrendered. He is currently at the Cherlapally Central Prison, Hyderabad.

For almost three days, all major legacy media companies were mum on the issue. Not a word, not even a breaking/ scroll was aired.

The entire issue got highlighted only because social media spoke about it. Now Union Minister garu is very upset that he couldn’t control the narrative on social media.

To all those who fought on this issue and got rewarded by the defamation suit, you were doing the right thing.

Those who took money and ran paid campaigns about the victim’s age to sharing her private videos to churning out sick stories on a 17 year old child - shame on you. I hope you never have children or women in your lives. If you are a woman who did it, I have no words for you.✌🏽

I hope the victim gets justice 🙏🏽

Why is Urdu made compulsory in Hyderabad Metro?

English is different because we are forced, and now the narrative has changed so much that English is linked to education and class. Now why force Urdu too? Isn't Hyderabad a Telugu city?

He also said girls in this generation have a lot of such “friends”. Rakesh Reddy yesterday gave an interview where he said since the victim went to the party on her own and not dragged by kidnappers it cannot be called a rape. Today he went a step ahead and proposed marriage between the victim and the perpetrator.

Both BJP and their ally Congress’s leaders are shamelessly jumping through hoops and trying all kinds of circus feats to say rape of a minor is okay! 👌🏽

Paidi Rakesh Reddy is better suited to be a member of a Khaap Panchayat in a remote North India village, not an MLA from Telangana.

Bandi Bhageerath destroyed evidence in the POCSO case!

Police have added Section 238 for destruction of evidence.

A senior official revealed that while absconding, Bhageerath allegedly destroyed evidence and later surrendered to the police as part of a planned strategy.

During the investigation, he reportedly handed over only an empty phone to the police. When questioned about the SIM card, Bhageerath claimed that he had kept it somewhere and forgotten about it.

Following this, police added Section 238 to the case for the offence of destruction of evidence.

I Am The Only Father To Surrender A Son To The Police!

Meet Bandi Sanjay, BJP MP from Karimnagar and Union Minister of State, Home Affairs.

His 27 year old son is accused in grooming, assault and raping a 17 year old minor girl.

He allegedly invited the family home to talk and threatened, coerced and even abused the victim.

He apparently asked the victim who attempted suicide if the taste of phenyl was good.

He apparently asked the victim’s family how his son is responsible when the girl is of loose character and roamed around with so many others.

When the family goes to file a police complaint, he apparently used his clout and stopped the filing of FIR for hours.

While the family is still trying to get to the police to file an FIR, he apparently used his power to get a fake case of honey trapping & extortion on the victim.

Uses his power as Union Minister of Home Affairs for state to ensure that mainstream media doesn’t utter a word for three days. Absolute silence.

Sits and laughs with the Prime Minister and Chief Minister on stage, 24 hours after filing the case. Uses the stage display his power.

Congress CM calls him best friend. PM Modi invites the Congress CM to join hands with him.

Then big money is paid to so called influencers to character assassinate the victim, gaslight her and share all her private photos, videos, information, addresses and family details on all social platforms.

Peddles a narrative that the victim is not a minor.

Then takes out a religious rally and openly threatens the victim and her family. Promises to burn everyone fighting for justice of the victim…like Hanuman did to Lanka!!!

Goes to court and gets a Gag order to ensure that media doesn’t bring up his name when speaking about the case.

Approaches the vacation bench at the Telangana High Court and pleads for an interim bail.

Before the bail hearing starts, takes and admits his old mother to the hospital because apparently she fell sick due to all these developments. Not the victim’s mother or father but the accused’s politically powerful father’s mother is stressed. Tries to milk sympathy by releasing mother’s hospital videos.

Interim bail is refused.

Next day, which is DAY NINE of the FIR after a series of dramatic incidents, 27 year old son Bandi Bageerath is in Charlapally jail.

Meanwhile Bageerath wipes out his phone and loses his SIM card.

Today Bandi Sanjay comes in front of the media and claims he is the only father who surrendered his only son to the police.

Not enrolled him in the army.
Not sending him to fight at the border.
Just surrendered his son to prison after nine days of POCSO FIR being filed.

Next he will tell us how he is the virtuous King Dasharadha and his son the most rightful Lord Rama 🙏🏽
