@kmreed @thejackbeyer Worse. Assuming the £100 includes VAT, the gov gets £20 and the creator gets £39.

Now for the scary part. That £100 is *after* income tax and NI contributions. For a basic rate taxpayer, ~£60 has already been paid in tax/NI, meaning about 50% goes to gov, <25% to the creator.

@eevblog @C_S_Skeptic Based on what the numbers are doing when changing the payload slider and comparing with reusable 0, 1 or 2 refuel flights, no - 180t is 1 launch fully expendable. It's a very big rocket (nearly 3x Saturn V thrust), just that full reusability is a big penalty.

@eevblog @C_S_Skeptic According to https://t.co/XylKZtVZs4, a fully expected Starship stack ($100m) could send 180t to TLI if you really wanted to. That's more than Saturn V could put in LEO. Reusable and refuelled, it can do Artemis end goal, which is way more than just boots on the ground.
