@naffaish01@ree_rehanat Sonia is bad, you could keep that tomato paste open for 7 days and it wouldn't spoil, if it's real tomatoes that's inside, 2 days in the open and it should begin to spoil. Sonia's just full of corn starch and high amount of preservatives.
@ree_rehanat@naffaish01 I swear this isn't true, but from trusted brands like Gino for example. They don't use corn starch at all. But you see Sonia tomatoes? Avoid at all cost.
@Honours_01@AkuroseokikaV@S_Adenosyl_Meth@ezichi_rn So why were we taught blood smear on sample slides in hematology, blood count using neubauer chamber in physiology, culture nd gram staining in microbiology and a whole lot of others. You've not heard of medicine in trenches, so I don't expect you to know much from your small lab
@zubby4567@rocksinogen If your relative is sick can you take him/her to a herbalist for treatment? If my relative is sick I could take him/her to see an actual doctor in a hospital and allow an auxillary nurse open a card for us and check vitals.
@rocksinogen Replace "auxiliary nurse" there with "CHEW" and you'll be spot on.
I worked in the private sector for more than a year at so many hospitals before NYSC and the best nurses I met were all CHEW .
With respect to the registered nurses on the tl
@ezichi_rn@Softlife100 It's pointless, aimless. It's a role dats not needed in d hospital environ. You would see vacancies for nursing assistants, lab assistants, you'll hardly find any for so called 'consultant Nurse'. Just become a matron or a specialist Nurse, no one's consulting you for anything.
@AkuroseokikaV@S_Adenosyl_Meth@ezichi_rn Lab handling isn't taught but could be learned over time. The reason why the common lab investigations are taught in med school is cos sometimes you could be in a hospital without adequate Manpower and would need to be able to run some basic tests to help diagnose some conditions
@AkuroseokikaV@S_Adenosyl_Meth@ezichi_rn They can do PCV, how about blood count and differential using a microscope? ESR, microbiology, serum electrolyte using an automated analyser. We were taught these in Med school. These are the common investigations that can aid in diagnosing a number of pathologies.
@YOUNG042GALAXY1@Ghogsie It's always the Male nurses wanna be doctors that couldn't make it to medical school doing the most ๐ . It's not our fault that you scored so low in Jamb and was denied admission. Or you felt medicine was too hard for you so u decided to go an easier course. ๐
@AkuroseokikaV@S_Adenosyl_Meth@ezichi_rn A doctor can comfortably do the work of a lab scientists because all these were taught in our curriculum. A lab scientists can't do the work of a doctor cause it wasn't taught in their curriculum. You all actually don't have an idea what it means to b a doctor in todays society.
@ezichi_rn@Softlife100 The follow up care which is Check vitals at regular intervals, dress wounds if any, change catheters if any in place, care for Nasogastric tube. Is there anything else I'm missing?
