I was aware of hyaluronic acid being used for joints. A patient was recommended HA for tennis elbow by a specialist. Having done a quick search, it does look like there is some evidence for this. I'd never heard of HA for tendinopathies... Any thoughts on this? @Valjones2305Val
@cam11jam hi. I've been trying to collect norms and ratios for a while but get confused by the big variations out there in the research. So the studies would be great when you have a few minutes ๐
Wondering if someone can help. I'm doing an in service on hand held dynamometry. I'm looking for a resource that will give me a practical, standardised approach to measuring different body parts. Can't find much. Am aware of Scott Morrisons website. ๐
@Retlouping Are you talking about the statement that 80 percent of acute back pain settles regardless of intervention within 6 weeks? (that's generally what I see also ๐คท)
@consultantPT@ERWorldPhysio@thecsp@ashjamesphysio My view is simple: Hamas are to blame, the 'evil' ones. They could stop this immediately by returning hostages and laying down their weapons. They don't seem to care about their own people. Has isreal gone too far? Perhaps. Any other country would do the same after Oct 7th ๐คท
@suzy_speirs Hi Suzy. Would also really value your take. Here are the xrays (with permission). Is the exostosis relevant? It's roughly where most of the pain is...
Case study: long hx of heel pain. X-ray shows this is not a haglunds. Seems likely to be a subcutaneous calc bursitis. Physio for 3 months has helped quite a bit with lowering irritability. But still unable to play tennis.
